enit, that sherry pearl is a fully nice colour, dont see many of them think ive actually only ever seen one in life. Nice though, looks a more modern colour then alot of the older vw colours. Both smart, also that blue one, few under neath it was pretty bloody clean. Their worth the hassel i reacon. Other wise id be on the other fourum. - And i will get my car on here within 24 hours, maybe. aha. -
id say look at others at the tie and jsut bang it up for around what tohers have, id imagine theil buy yours first.... Black- smart paint, subtle mods, smart wheels etc etc.... And the fact this build thread shows the attention you showed it through out the time of ownership so id asume theyd appreciate a car thats had care....

yea, is looking mint on them banded steels.... Also, not to other peoples taists? aha one who cares and two, it looks evil.... so sod um. What did you do with the back of it, fill it? weld to the boot? etc, im hating that crappy bit of plastic looks cheap and i also dont like the line on the top where it meets the boot by the spoiler... Tbf i do want to keep my reg plate in the recess and was tinking of a frenched tail, shouldnt be too hard to do and would look filth id imagine... -
ahaha no, i meant your car had a vr, then received a r32, when mines only got a 1.8 16v anyway, i bloody wish i had a 24v vr, i think i would get a boner evrytime i went on my drive and it would be messy when it got driven... :D If your car was mine your seats would be sticky.

please help, i need to know whether i need to spend 50 bob on a cv joint or not, as tbf i know nothing about cars, i just like going fast and vws... so in order to do this i need to know how to do it etc... Just need to know if it can be fixed without buying a new one or if it may not even be this which is broken? Thanks

is also fully nice. -
Hmm nice, how would that have happend ? The only thing id imagine doing it is the fact it was tilted alot... aha as i did one side then was going to do the other... And its standard i asume, changing to coilies... At the moment, i couldnt stick the old suspension back on as it was too big to fit back in even with the spring compressed a fair bit, didnt have a top mount to put on it as i have no car to go and get the tool to get it and have bodged it with a screwdriver and hammer which didnt go too well but it worked i supose i jsut gave up after about 4 hours of tapping. Lowerd it down wihtout a topmount i tried pulling my car up the drive, didnt work, wheel was touching the arch so i figured it may be the fact it was so low that it wouldnt drive, so i raised it by putting a mk1 golf top mount in there with the little bolts which go into the body of the mk1 hammerd off as it was the only thing i could do at the time to get it on the drive and it still wont drive, wheel slanted a little when i lowerd it down also not sure if this is due to it being slanted as its slammed on one side and not on the other. I hate finding crappy little things volkswagen make you need specific tools for, especially on sundays. Fail. Is a cv joint hard to change and how do i establish if its that thats broken, if i do the top mounts tomorow and lower it down, im hoping it will drive if not, i may cry. Thanks people and i know this is very retarded but i appologise, im very eager and inpatient...

im currently bricking my self, please help me.
-
You bought it where? aha and sound for that... Also, i gave up as i couldnt get it off and stuck the coilie on without the top mount and now it wont drive, doesnt send power to the wheels or its getting mashed somewere, makes some dodgey cruncing noises and doesnt go anywere, as if my gear box is mullard.... Anyone know whats happend and i know it was a bad idea anyway but i have no insurance so i couldnt leave my car jacked up on the side of the road... Thanks Much appreciated.
-
help me please, atm im using a hammer and screw driver, doesnt look too nice....

coilies tomorow or next, ill crack it on here then :) its make my willy shrink seeing peoples deep dish when ive none :pale: Bloody locking wheel nut to abuse first.... Nice yellow corrado too always wanted a a bit of cheeky yellow tbf looks smart. -
and seems a good time to sell tbh, 190kers going for like 1900 so id imagine you could get a few bob... Just keep check on ebay or bang it up as buy not etc for a while see what offers you get...
-
mate, dont sell this, tbh would you not love it to have an r32 beast in it, you planned for what you wanted this like and now just to let someone go and claim its theirs for all your work.... seems a waist... but i can see the point in the fact youl probably not own it forever or itl get smashed up... aha.. Enit, i agree also do that you want mate, i want borbets with a polished center i saw this and was asuming one day youd polish the centers, you now saying you wont made me a wee happier but tbh there so many cars with so any wheels its not about wheels anyone can put a set of wheels and coilovers on a car, its about subtle little mods like them lights in the dash that make it sweet, their the jobs that take it out of you too so make the most of it whilst you have it i supose, bit deep for a car but think how much of your life you spent doing it. I waist my life daily on my car and it looks wank as i cant put expensive wheels on it cant afford to pay people to do stuff for me or the tools to do evrything i need, i do it all my self and its effort, so respect mate blatently took alot of effort (monetery and phisyical) i reacon this is the nicest corrado ive seen for not being kept in a garage for its whole life.
