My drive shaft went around 1 1/2 - 2 months ago and now it has gone again, same one (Passenger side) Since new it seemed clunky but i presumed it was fine... Obviously not, any ideas on what i should do? Also is this a regular occurance for anyone else, could this be due to being low? Cheers, im in need of help as i have no money as tbh, im a little annoyed that its gone so fast. I had 9 stiches in my arm so i sent it to a garage, now its broken again and i payed full whack on labour and parts. Would like to say a few words i should now....

ahaha sounds a mission... Id imagine well worth doing though, does look nicer... At the moment ive got rid of my ash tray as i didnt receive one with the car, so ive got rid of the lighter and stuck a dial mount instead.... I plan on re trimming the dash at some point so id imagine changing the whole thign would easiiest, thanks.... Is all i do swap the ends and the attatch it all back together and then it should all work? Aha cheers mate.

is it the mount for the which doesnt fit? They do look alot better than the slider ones so id still like them, at the moment i know the slidy ones changeg the heat when the wire is pulled etc How are these changed to an electric version, what parts would i need to change, what would be my probles if i used the old dash to put them in, as all it is a peice of cardboardy stuff.. easy to mould, cut etc would wouldnt ake it too tricky to fit somethign in their id imagine... How do i install/get these into my car, i currently have the slidey ones which look crap and work pretty poorly... What would be needed and is it easy? aha cheers people.

What carpet do people use or do most of you buy one that is ready to fit? I know dazfx mae his own and it looked fully smart.

Bloodyhell, i stated i wasnt speeding can people not read? Its like all the fags are just ganging up on me stating speeding is bad my driving is obviously the reason ive been pulled over many times etc, when i was doing about 25 in a 30 ... get the point, you aint gaining brownie points being the goody goody here stating anything that may be within the law is bad... Id hope alot of you think alot of the laws in this country are balls. You must live away from all the police, i hae one at the top of my road. My cousin used to be a traffic officer and said they play snooker with the cars, red cars first and if they do them for something, they can then move onto a colour... Ive owned a red mk1 and 2... gutted. He now does something to do with armed police... Plus he also said most the west mids police are cun*s and like to annoy the general public mostly young males, so ill take it from first hand experience that im right in saying 'Some' have attitudes which are not helping soceity be a better place. I also get searched alot which he also said they should not do if the have pulled you over for no reason.

Your all too judgemental, some police are right sods and some arnt, if you are one, be a nice one. Why would you want someone to think your a wanker.... Im polite to anyone i see a police offier is no different, ive been let off things before by some and their sound but some are idiots... One car pulled my mate over, said we were on a well know drug using area... searched the inside of the car, let us go, we pulled off they followed us again, pulled us over about 1000 yards down the road and said we were on a rount which burgulers used, searched again, then let us go.... wtf.... I get pulled over alot because im out in my car at night(No reason i shouldnt be, i pay to use them) Theres not a time restriction for when my car sould be in bed. Eatch time their very fast to react with a negative manner when all i doing is being complient... Im young, male, have a low, old car... Many a time ive laughed with the officers who have pulled me over but more times ive been treated like a fool, whos word has nothing to say for anything...

I was not revving my engine i was driving up a hill.... is that wrong in anyway at all? About 25 mph, crappy road, which i pay tax for which destroys my car and they pull me over and say my car is not fit to be on a road which is not even fit to be on earth.... Dont then pull me over and threaten me with a fine, as i should send you letters regarding my splitter.... I got out, as i said i was very polite and complient with the officers but he started it with "You, get out, theres going to be points involved in this...." Polite, nice, friendly, socially complient? No sure of that one..... Tbh why am i ballsy to state that ive been harrased by soem cock hole for no reason? Do i go about telling people their shoes are not worthy of the pavment? That car costs me alot, one i dont want some idiot saying its a peice of junk and two to threaten me with points, fines etc when theyve fined me enough already for pointless stuff.... People should respect others as they would want to be treated themseles, not knowingly thinking, if this knob isnt complient with what my views and opinions are then ill piss him off by not slapping him on the wrists but threatening their jobs, income even to make someone feel at harm is NOT having care of duty so treating me with disrespect/threats etc is technically illigal .... well thats if my engine noise is suposed to be hurting people feelings? In the last 4 years driving ive been pulls countless amounts id imagine about 25 at least, 4 times on my drive (One of these they accused me of stealing the car, which i was parking on MY drive) When i stated my name and the reg plate on the car being my initials they still treated me like something theyd trod on.

Youd just prove what officers can be like then.... All on a power trip that is. Why would you want to do that as ive said nothing wrong other than i got hasseld .... for a problem you may encounter yourself one day as you do own the same car....

Also ie had many encounters with the police soem good and some bad but most i find theres one coc* and the rest are fairly polite and friendly realising that to fine someone is fairly harsh they dont usually bother... I was very polite, friendly was also appologetic about the fact i was noisy but said i wasnt speeding (I wasnt the roads in peices it would snap my car...) He was just a bellend... think i did piss him off because i said you obviously dont like cars if your stopping me saying this is too low he told ME not to patronise him, this is whilst he was mid lecture telling me how anti social i was.... I didnt speed, cars fine .... He was just a coc* muncher. No numbers or id of the bloke either but still, aint fair to those who want to modify their cars, just another way of the gov robbing us... And did you say theil have y information writen down on file or with other officers? wrong..... Also i never said i speed...just havnt said i dont....

As it sais, yesterday i was stopped by 3 police running out in front of me in the road so as to make me stop, he told me to get out said i was being anti social by using my accelerator he said "Theres going to be points given mate" i said points for what and he said being anti social (Which i stated if i didnt use it the car would not move) One he was a right arsehole plus he looked under my car and said there was body work hanging on the floor, which i laughed at and said bolloks.... (Splitter only hits the floor usually) I said i wasnt speeding, my cars mot'd plus there is no legal restriction on how low your car can be etc etc Made me sit in the police car waiting for a traffic officer to arive and then they radio'd through to say they couldnt come up, so he told me to leave it as a bolloking.......... As if that nober was going to try and get me points for nothing... Surley theres ways around this sort of abuse of power?

Fair play might pop down one day but as you said, they break alot so...you never know what i could be paying out for in the near future... I never stay and chat i just want someone to join me for a cheeky drive.
