HID's

Yeah, I'm familiar with that situation. Was thinking I might try and retrofit the MK4 setup.

KipVR, did you manage to get the self levelling working?
4. Yup, mine was from an early estate. Post #12 for pics. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?50688-Moonroof-Advice-Needed&highlight=Moonroof

6. A good selection here; http://www.autoclips.co.uk/volkswagen-1/?sort=priceasc&page=1
7. Ahh, Nice one! Thanks for looking, I didn't know they were the same. Parts ordered. :-)
8. That's it. I would rather avoid a trip to the dealers, so I'm hoping I can get it posted. Still after a part number...
9. Yeah, The Awkard screw! That would be ace if you have a spare one.
10. I think it's the counterpart to screw 24.
11. Does anyone have the part number or a source for the plastic lock nut that fits the bottom screw on the back of the headlight??
12. The UK Corrado box is code CHN which has the same ratios and 3.39 final drive as the Golf CCM box. The U.S. Corrado has a 3.68 fd which can also be found in the G60 box. If you don't have a 3.68, get one it's worth it.
13. Looks nicer than it sounds on paper but I'm not sure about the transition from curvy front via angular middle to curvy rear. Better than the sum of its parts... ... minus the Corrado.
14. I'm sure there's a better way but if you insert a butter knife and swing the handle round so it's perpendicular to the headlight they pop straight off
15. Looks like late bumper, early wings from the 1st and 2nd pics. Have you got a pic of the fogs and indicators to confirm.
16. I've got a couple of these bags. Instructions said to recharge; microwave on medium for 5 mins. Works well.
17. Great, keep me posted please.
18. Came back to the car after a couple of days to find my passenger side front fog has mysteriously cracked. Grrrrrrrrrrr!! Anyone got a replacement?
19. That's right, the VR6 element is prone to heat soak. The 1.8T had an open element and measures the temp of the air rather than the inlet manifold it's also quicker to react. I've a 1.8T sensor drilled into the maf, OBD2 has a blanked port that's perfect for it.
20. Yup, the drive home needed the windows down and the sunroof open to demist the windscreen :-(
