Hi guys,

My C has one early and one late headlight looks a tad cross eyed.

The one late one has one of the top clips snapped off.

And since I am running a late grille I would ideally like a matching set of late headlamps in good condition.

Please let me know what you have got, willing to pay.

Re-opening this one again, as I have finally got the G60 up and running after more than a year off the road and all sorts of drama including having the G-lader nicked and then found/returned...

So I just had all the lower control arm bushes replaced as was initially planned (with the R32 ones at the front) even the rear trailing arm PITAs changed. Also had my Neuspeed front and rear ARBs fitted(damn they're nice, 25FR 28RR) at the same time.

Yet...this weird knocking/loose feeling in the front end persists. I really think it might be a gearbox/diff issue.

It does feel similar to when my mk2 spat its diff bearings out(felt like the whole transaxle was about to fall out), though the oil was pouring out of it also at the time. No oil is leaking from the rado.

I still have my PSS9 coilovers set fairly soft. Has new VR6 Top mounts also.

Is there a way of checking the diff/pinion shaft for wear without ripping it apart?

As long as I have owned my Corrado all of the heater vents point in whatever direction they please, due to all of the directional controls being broken and one of the up down swivel points is mashed beyond recognition also.

Would really love a whole set of GC early heater vents to replace these. Let me know what you have got.

Good money waiting, would need to be shipped for me also. Cheers.

If any more get made/additional connectors found, I'd still like to be 2nd or 3rd in line(can't remember which it was) for the next batch :)

If there is still room available I'd definitely be interested in getting a 3 relay kit, was about to send some money off to spoonfed but these sound much better!

Been a while, and after looking through some recent posts this forum is still the best and most welcoming and friendly forum I've ever seen.

Anyway down to business.

As there are less that 10 Corrados in Australia and I've never really seen another one up close and personal I was never aware that my rear quarter window seals were total rubbish. I always disliked the fact that they appeared lumpy and didn't look right. Anyway earlier today I saw that they aren't the right seal at all, they have been changed by some hack and just been made to fit in anyway possible with some generic window seal(cringe). Anyway now that I notice it......it must be fixed!

A bit more searching and I find that the original quarter windows and seals are effectively 1 piece.

It seems as though I'm bang out of luck trying to get new replacements of the glass and seal?

Can anyone point me in the right direction of trying to find replacements?

Does anyone else know of a supplier or what the difference is between RHD/LHD hoses?

or any G60.

from the looks of their site they don't do hoses for a G60 corrado.

thanks gold, I'll check out roose. The standard clips are a PITA, was going to replace them with high quality regular hose clamps.

I have a 91 G60 RHD, am wanting to replace the coolant hoses.

Looking at the samco website they only do kits for LHD G60 corrados.

Is there any difference between a LHD and RHD in terms of the hoses, can I use the LHD kit?

the car tracks and handles fine, its just under a hard jolt of acceleration or over a bump an odd feeling like something is going to drop out of the engine bay.

I have checked the mounts again and they all seem fine.

I had my English mate who's had several of these things drive it and he felt the same problem I was detecting and he things there is play in the diff.

Does this sound like a common problem? It's not dropping gearbox oil.

If the diff is the issue I am hoping it won't be too expensive to fix.

What is the coolant flow direction for the 2 hoses that go to/from the top side of the water pump? (ie. not into the block or from the bottom rad hose) Cheers.

 

Bin it and replace with a single-stage Spal fan wired direct to the rad sender.

Stone. This mod you're suggesting sounds good. Would that do away with the sensor that sits up near the intake manifold? I'm not even sure mine works.

Could be the case Kev. I have the R32 bushes sitting in the pile of parts I need to fit. Including 02J shift mechanism with dieselgeek SS, oil cooler etc. Haha fat lot of good they're doing not yet fitted.

I do have the PSS9s on the softest setting on the front. The top mounts are brand new VR6 spec.
