Yea this is getting a bit confusing. I almost don't want to offer so many options and would prefer to have kept it simple. But I know a lot of us would like to have things made to order and we can offer that option. So I will do my best to fill everyone's needs here. The price for the illuminated gauge faces is £68 in green, white, or blue. Those are the only colors offered in the gauge faces. The red illuminated needle circuit boards are £78 for the kit of 3. The needles have to be sourced from a Audi 100 cluster which the supplier of the needle circuit board can source for you or you can source the needles and ship them to him. They need to be modified to work with the Corrado gauges. He said the needles cost him from £26-£39. I believe he has needles in stock right now so let me find out an exact price on what he will charge for them. The £104 price was for needles that are in the other colors that I listed that are not RED. Red is the standard color the needles come in so to change the color the needles need to be modified, hence the increased price. Shipping cost I am waiting to get the pricing on. I should have the price in the morning.

Eddy.h I'll put that design together tonight and post it. Bryan is there a 20VT logo already or do I need to make something? If I do need to make it how do you want it to look? jacko we can delete the logos, not a problem. Hi Tom, I can make the gauge face design for you but I would need a better picture of the tach. They would have to be backlit though. Thanks everyone!

The illuminated needles are priced at £78 for the 3 circuit boards one for each needle for both the early style or later style. For the early style mechanical odometer and trip meter they can be illuminated as well for an additional £34. Colors available are white, green, blue, or amber. The needles come standard red but can be ordered in blue, green, white, or amber for a cost of the kit for £104 instead of £78. Now the needles are not included in this pricing and they are sourced from an Audi 100 cluster. I need to get the pricing set on the needles.

Those are not the illuminated gauge faces but a test print of the layout. Blue is available. I can do the artwork for the 20vt logo and add it for your set. I totally understand. Maybe it will work out that you can get one of the spare sets that we have. I'll post once we know what inventory we have once I know.

The needles light up red. This pic they look orange but in person they are a nice red.

This in green?

We can offer them with green lighting not just white. We will have some extra kits as inventory but it will be a very limited number and since the UK kits are so specific I can't promise we will have more than one of each. If this gb goes well and there is enough interest we will do another gb in the future. The illuminated needle kits are available separately. Let me get all of the information on the kits with pricing posted tomorrow. eddy.h I can add the marks in red and post tomorrow too. Is that consistent for the UK speedometers? ---------- Post added at 09:00 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:40 AM ---------- Early 16v kit. Let me know if the redline on the tach is too high. Its not OE. Late 16v kit. Would everyone prefer the fuel gauge to read in gallons or liters?

We are organizing a group buy for backlit/illuminated gauge faces for all Corrado models. We are offering specific kits for the UK. These gauges are intended to look OE with only minor changes. We cleaned up some of the items that don't seem necessary like kph on the speedometer. We also made the tachometers 1x1000 rather than 1x100. We added logos for VR6 and G60 models but these can be omitted if not desired. Also the Corrado logo can be omitted or moved to the speedometer if desired. We have a 16v version that I will post tomorrow night. The gauge faces will illuminate in white with electroluminescent backing film. Kit includes 3 gauge faces and a power supply. They will be shipped from our distributor in Belgium so as to save on shipping rather than having them shipped from the States. Price is £68 for the kit. I will get shipping pricing in the next few days. We will also be offering illuminated needle kits with pricing coming tomorrow. We will be taking orders/payment in full on these kits now in order to reserve your spot. Sales will be close on January 15, 2012. The order for the kits will than be placed and they will be produced. My hope is to have the gauge face kits shipped by the end of January. If you have any suggestions for changes that we should make to the design please feel free to post. I designed the faces as best to my knowledge of what the UK needs are but I may have missed some things. Thank you! Early G60 Late G60 Late VR6

Your parts shipped on December 20th and I just tracked them now. This is the message. Your item was processed through a facility in GREAT BRITAIN on January 03, 2012 at 5:57 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination. Can you please send the balance once you receive the parts. BTW you're the first person to get the RHD trim. You will need to use 3 of the lower metal clips from the factory plastic trim pieces to clip the new part to the car. Place one in the middle and the other two go one towards each end. Simple install. Cheers! -

The lower trims are all ready, just waiting for the scuttle tray mold to be completed. Sorry for the delay. The holidays and other projects have slowed things down. -

Finally some pics of the prototype RHD rain/scuttle tray. Fits the lower trim perfect too. -
Fiberglass version Carbon/Kevlar version This is the stem prototype that we cast in plastic that will be bonded to the caps for attaching them to the strut.

I'd be down for making them but I don't think cost wise it would be in the price range that would make everyone happy. Tooling for infused composite parts is not cheap plus you need two molds that are of fair size and probably multiple pieces. The parts themselves would be a bit costly too. I've seen no mention of prices in here but good quality composite parts in low volume aren't cheap. This is a very low volume part so the tooling costs can't be absorbed as easily. Fiberglass/glass fiber would be much more cost effective and work well. Tooling is about half the cost and the parts would be less as well. One problem with having parts made in China is they don't have a Corrado there to use for fitment. Its not like once the mold is finished they can take the first part out of the mold and check fitment on a car before going ahead with production.

For all adjustable struts there is a version that is taller by a 1/4". The fiberglass version that come in gloss black will be £58, carbon fiber will be £74, and carbon/Kevlar will be £74 as well. Shipping will be £13.

Thank you!

I wanted to share another new product we just started production on. These are front strut caps made from carbon fiber, fiberglass, and carbon/Kevlar. We offer the carbon in 1x1 and 2x2 cloth. Also all of the caps are available in satin finish since they come out of the mold that way. We polish them for a gloss finish. The caps have a plastic stem on the bottom that threads onto the top of the strut. Since its a soft plastic it can't damage the strut thread if cross threaded. We also offer a taller version for adjustable struts. These fit VR upper strut mounts only and will not fit the earlier G60/16v strut mount.

The LHD version is going to happen. There has been a strong response to these RHD trim pieces so we are going to start the LHD mold. I'll IM you with the details. Yes. We didn't cut the holes until after these pictures because I wanted to show what it looks like in case anyone wants to see what it looks like without the holes. The fiberglass one in the pic is yours btw and it will be on its way soon. -
Right now we have a holiday special price on our unique Corrado Fiberglass Extended Rear Spoiler for only £167 shipped direct to the UK. Installs with the existing hardware and brackets. Comes in raw gel coat that requires prep and paint prior to final installation. They are also available in carbon fiber and carbon/Kevlar for £275 shipped. Feel free to contact us at [email protected]. Cheers!

So far I have interest for 2. I'm going to post up a thread on the Corrado forum on the Vortex today specifically about tooling a LHD CF version. Hopefully we can pull together 10 people to make it happen. Thanks guys. I want to take the opportunity to make these two parts fit as well as possible. ---------- Post added at 10:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:57 PM ---------- Pics of the first Fiberglass version. -

We finished the first fiberglass windshield trim today and I'll post pics tomorrow. The trim pieces are in production. We just need to finish the prototype for the scuttle tray. Its very close but we were waiting for the lower trim to be ready so we can fit both to the car together so the scuttle can be made to fit exact to the trim piece. It will be done in two days. Both of these parts will be even better than the current LHD parts we make since they will be made to fit even together more exact. I expect both parts to be shipping in a little over a week. Sorry for the delay on these. But once you receive the parts it will be worthwhile. -
