basically, if you want the new stuff, but the new fogs and indicators from GPC, take out your old stuff, knock out a panel behind the lighting, fit the new stuff. simple. HTH

Supercharged, yeah i know the feelin :lol: Bournemouth 20VT James, i think i heard you can get them for about 30. best thing to do actually, is to get them from a biker place. its braided hoses, with any length or connection and instead of being bare braid, which can pick up road dirt and corrode and break i heard, they are insulated, so look like normal hoses. hth

he's saying, whats the point of being lazy and spending an extra 100 quid, when you can phone around a few places and get them cheaper.? good point, not so well presented. :lol:

you can spend as much as you want, no comparison since you have obviously never seen one of carismas cars. they are mint interiors. i am a big fan of MJ-Interiors too, and i never said they were bad. just not THE best. i have seen a few things like a thread fraid here and there.

no henny, you had to bloody move one!!!!!! you just said, thats my point. it doesnt drop straight in if you have to move, to get it to drop in!!!!!!!!! and from memory its the gearbox mount :)

thats kind of like sayin a MKI 1.8 GTI engine will fit in a MKI golf 1.1 C cause its a MKI shell, but that aint the case.

because i thought it used different mounting points.... thats why i didnt think it wouldnt fit :? :lol: i knew it would work with the 1,8's, but i was under the impression tha VR's used a completly diferent block

a 20vt drops in on VR mounts?? i find that strangely hard to believe actually.

yeah, the glass does have a lot to do with beam pattern, hence why when you go to euro land, you have to put funny stickers on your headlights to block just that. like the same when the come here.

yeah, but my point is, half a second either side of a gearchange to third dont mean nuthin. its like VR owners saying my 0-60 time is faster, therefore my car is faster. fine then, race to 75 and put the shoe on the other foot then :wink: cause when your busy changing to third, ill sail past ya :lol:

i knew that was gonna come up, and its rubbish. he wasnt a leather specialist for rolls royce.. he worked for them but as something else. he was making a renault5 at the time and wanted leather, so he took some rolls royce off white leather and his auntie taught him how to sew. thats how it started :wink: I'll get ma coat.....

yeah, was gonna make the point about the kind of driving too, i have a works van so only use the corrado for pi$$ing about in now. engine upgrades are good, but sheer accelaration comes from the box really. i dont mind 1st and second at the mo, second is too short, but ill probably do what i just described, to save them getting out of hand, unless theres one slightly longer than a vr 2nd? i mean my engines had a couple of lil upgrades too but more accelaration is always goo, and who stops a race at 60 anyway? i think 0-60 times are tripe.

dubbprince, late spec stuff doesnt have holes for adjusting the screws, another reason why they look far better. But spot on with the red car, thay are just standard lights with the bits that dont reflect light, painted black. the glass will b custom bonded in, like zarman did with his Audi A6 transplant 8)

but wouldnt i be right in sayin, henny, that if you stick1st and 2nd of a vr, then shorten the final drive, it makes the new 1st two gears kind of back to standard ratios, which you say as pointless, but itll make 3rd and the rest phenomanal fun and accelaration, but then its surely keeping the driveability round town, ie no differnce til third where it takes off, sounds ideal to me :D

I like the idea of what majik is on about, basically redesigning the seats Carisma do this alot, and are by far the best trimmers in britain. tho very VERY expensive!!!
