Dont know about you guys, but i find people with VR6 Corrados have a complex of some sort.... R32's are trick cars and id have one in a shot. readin about one it seems that the gear ratios are spaced exactly like the G60 is, ie change from second before 60 etc... and all of the ones i see up here are either women drivers or old people. no scope for a wee race there either... :(

so is the 3.94 final drive good for the G60? whats the difference in ratios and final drives between standard G60 and VR boxes? i'll be ghetting a ATB quaife diff like JoeM has at some point this year and want a new final drive with the possibility of running a 6spd. reading this i aint sure if all the info is more for the VR than the G60? i dont mind cutting the top speed down i just want to get there quicker!!! :lol:

Pete, yeah, thats my point, you can swap stuff about, but chances are it wont be great. if you hit the nail on the head, then yeah, but it can be costly. like i said, best bet is to find a set you like from the off. no point getting a set, thinking they aint right then swapping bits, get a good set first. :) I run Focals also. awesome speakers. polyglass V2's. so good, they had to complely redesign the kevlar range cause they werent worth the extra cash after these came out. never ever heard a bad review about them. take your time setting it up too.

theyre either non standar units, which it loks like, cause they aint seated quite right, or, they are new glass bonded on. buddha a forum member used to be a lot, use to do this too, and the indicators.

erm... they dont have to feature it........ you dont want them to use your photos, dont bloody send em. obvious really. they dont need to go to everything. newspapers report on lots of things every day, and arent on every scene. they get photos sent, and phone for interviews etc. thats what a magazine does too. simple.

i think you'll find its the angle, the lighting and the fact they are new. they look standard to me.

but doesnt your changer have two wires that you say are earths? thats what martins has and i reckon one might be a remote on, that might muck it up, cause it aint connected right ??? i cant remeber if changers need a seperate remote on from the head unit, like amps do, or if its through the multi-pin connector?

tweeters are about 1 1/2" - 2 " accross, the whole is 4". they'll all fit.... best bet is to actually buy a component set tho, this will work better than a miss amtch of speakers, as compoonents are designed to work together and have specific crossovers to work properly.

he obviously thinks that a mk4 looks better, and im inclined to agree. it also wouldnt be fun just buying an s3 now would it. fair bit of cash and work yeah, and its a bloody top idea!!! :D

if you really want to sort out your system, the dont do speakers, fit components up front. tweeters in the dash and woofers in the door. hth :)

its ok Jedi, that gril is sitting next to me as i type, cause i bought it donkeys ago :lol: basically, the grille has had the surround filled with expanding foam, the slats cut off, then the whole thng has been sanded, fill the cutouts with fibreglass body filler and smooth down. spray in high build body primer, then colour code. mesh is personal choice and is bonded on tot he back. Hope this helps. :)

id imagine so, because i persume leons are the same as VR's in that the use et43 offset (or around that). et 35 on that setup meants that you have effectively pushed the wheels out by 8mm on standard, but it aint just offset either, two wheels the same offset, but different innner spoke shape, may not clear the same caliper. another option would be to run Leon wheels, which i think look really nice anyway. It'd give the corrado a fresher looking face too.

not of the corrado bud, nice iece of kit that is. got two bad ones of the rear of his MKI at inters.

I have Pirelli P7000's on mine, theyre great tires. quite quiet, make the steering nice. grip well. 205/40 17 never really push the car in the wet, but they can surprise me when i do, better than i think :lol: they handle 200 bhp anyway not a problem. got them cause i couldnt get P-Zero nero's in time for inters, but they are my next tires.
