does everyone mean thisversion with the lil cap and torch all included and not just a blank key? I thought this was a neat little unit really, handy to stop the key cutting through my pockets on my jeans  Nige, If you have the Part number for this lil piece o kit, The part number would be nice. Mwybe you could post it up for everyone though? Like Roddy says, I'd probably be able to get it here with the part number. Cheers -

Yeah, that innitial thought did cross my mind!!! vr6storm, You reckon the keys are still available then? I'd probably rather have a Switchblade, but this option doesnt looklike it would take up soo much romm.... -
Pretty trick i thought... [web]http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... egory=9889[/web]

1982 MKI Golf GTI in black. preferably Standard. But brake and suspension mods acceptable  I just missed out on getting one before i bought mr Rado and i really regret not acting quicker... Tho The Rado was only meant to be a comfortable daily driver and all my money was meant to go to my current '82 MKI Golf..... Well, You cant win em all!

Yes, THEY fit them in their workshop. they can gaurantee their own work, not yours. They will say no. They have done it many times before. On my receipt from Jabba it states no warrantee where a pulley smaller thatn 68mm has been used without being reccommended by them. Its a contract. you break it tough. Becuase it sounds like a bearing they may check it out of good will but they may also say it was because you fitted a smaller pulley. wouldnt hurt to ask...

Your car loks sweet mate :thumbleft: i reckon the OZ's would lok the Biz.
-
you can but 2 ways from places like southside car audio for about 30 quid but the best bet is to fit a tweeter from a component set and do it right, just like the basic setup that VW did in the first place.

Obviously

 that what its like when your not runnin our 98 RON Optimax over here. It just aint the same
-
I wouldn't worry about it Lanny, there is a thread elsewhere on here that notes that we measure our petrol differrently to your guys so it may be the same.

Strange, i would of thought that 30's would of fit...., the higer the offset, the further in they would sit. The lower the number, the further out they should sit. et30 should be like running et35's on 5mm spacers. You sure all the wheels are 30mm offset?

matt buz, Sweet car mate, welcome to the forum. dan, It is unlike it. the RS is Blue. We have tons up here.
-
Szarky, Never seen the car in question but im guessing tha cause of the high price and the not exactly A1 condition is why it hasnt sold. and as for finding the interior? well, you'll find that 5 of 5 have them fitted as standard and the 6th one is in Majik's G60!!!! Lucky Bandito!!!!
-
Id suspect this being true as i could imagine huge 5 litre V10's may need more tha 94 RON
-
They must be quite rare then? Prefer the chrome (ish) wheels better. think darker wheels on a black car looks a bit too dark sometimes.
-
????? What do they look like?

i wouldn't like to try and squeez 3 people in the back way!! too tight! Think the rear bench armrest was an option on the earlier Corrado 16v's but not sure on the later 2L's. Its not illegal not having a rear armrest. it is illegal carrying a 5th passenger with no safetybelt though. Just cause someone could go there, doesn't mean they should go there. I don't make my Girlfriend sit in the boot. Though sometimes i wish she would at least offer!:lol::lol:

LOL! You going for it then? Nice. You spoke to Niko yet? He used to have a couple of sets didn't he?
-
its not as eay as it sounds...... unless your a pro, forget it. I phoned a tv repair shop about it and they werent keen. imm going to check the wiring and earths and get a new circuit board, just to be safe....
-
I certainly wouldn't mind either! :D  Welcome

It probably part of the Dry Solder dyndrome thats affecting my speedo and Rev counter too.... Ill have to change the printed circuit board at somepoint. Try switching the headlights on before you even stick in a key, that can do it on mine too. Dont think it has anything to do with it being clocked though. The Mileage is stored in the speedo, not the MFA.
