Like the side skirts, are they Stroeve motorsport items as on Jeoren Diks Corrado? Very nice mate :D
-
well, heres a pic of mine at least..... Hope this helps?
-
And if you listen carefully, you can just make out the sound of me smashing my head of a wall continually...... You wish i bet roddy, But lets face it, i'll always be wrong to you...
-
I persume it depends on wether or not it has a Vacuum pug on it.
-
I don't know Roddy. Mitsubishi make Televisions. Not for their cars though. Rolls Royce made jet engines. Again, i dont think they made it into the production models..... Could be wrong.
-
Your late with that. there's already been two put up!
-
JESUS!!!! Your still alive???? :lol::lol::lol::lol:

No no, i never meant it like that, i was talking about them rewinding the spring that was mentioned earlier, not their CO's Yeah i know, she test drove a black one and didn't like it! Silly woman. give her her dues though, she did reckon that the red one she has was much faster. And she was right!!! Probably to do with the 1.9L engine it has! She made the right choice  And who are you to say they aren't? I was told that, others say it, but you only choose to argue with me. Why? Roddy, if someone tells me something that makes sense. i think about it weigh up the options and draw my own conclusions. if some one comes with an argument that makes sense, i think about it weigh up the options and again, draw my own conclusions. If however something is said that doesn't sound right, i have trouble believeing it, so unless say, full proof is given, why should i fully believe it. I've already stated that it could very well be BMW springs but just not lifted straight off their cars like you keep saying. Maybe you got the wrong end of the stick from your little bird? Im sure, in fact i'd expect it to have stiffened and lowered suspension, but not using coilover springs. I Have Never said they are 'Better', but if they are priced as they are, i just don't think that they would skimp with their development. You however keep saying people should 'save up' for the Koni's. So far, everyone i've talked to are really happy with their FK's, I've heard people complain about the Koni's. That is people's own opinions, why argue with it? I like my CO's, so i reccomend them. If you like yours, why not just reccommend yours and stop arguing with me on every thread about it. I'll say it again, i dont care who makes the springs, they are very good at what they do.
-
Yeah, but a coilover spring is a much slimmer design to a spring on a std. car and have different properties. BMW's aren't renowned for their stiff suspension as i'm aware, my mum's feels fine at least. so they use a different type of spring. They are possibly re-wound. But if Koni do it and its bespoke, then if FK do it why isn't it? In the latest Venom Ads they have the FK's priced higher than the Koni's and on their site class them as the best they sell. I dont care where their springs come from, they do a bloody good job of doing what they do. FACT.
-
Cheers Lanny i might give it a try.... *GULP*
-
Sorry Roody, i didn't realise that BMW fitted coilovers to their cars.
-
It was actually this suspension i was talking about earlier with the Scooby driver. they were developed with ScoobySport and the guy had to take them off cause they were rock solid! They looked absolutly stunning bits of kit though.
-
Isn't that a contradiction? I don't actually want to see the strut braces, hence why i only wanted ARB's. Anyone run the bars without the braces? Didn't realise that. But then aren't uprated one polyurethane and dont wear? hence you shouldn't have to replace them? I knew about the rear steering part and it dont seem to bother anyone. Any one reckon its the rear wheel steering that makes the damn thing tail happy?
-
i would of thought sticking it in the Trader would be the first thing, but no one seems too willing. I know a guy whom sold his on the second night he had a sign on it!!! Keep trying if you want. But keeping it does sound like a might fine idea if you can! :)
-
The problem i see is trying to cover all the bloody electrics! Theres so many wires and youd cover half the engine trying  and if i miss just one..... Its the only job on the car i truly avoid! Never cleaned an engine yet, im terrified of breaking it!
-
Thats a damn shamee too, if was after a VR that would be it for me. It was a black Corrado i was after to start off with. :( Hope you can sell it. You could PX it for Jims Saxo!
-
Ahh, the calm before the storm! Only joking, The filter looks sweet, its huge! is it a VR fitment or something else? Got any engine cleaning tips?
-
90mm chin spoiler, or 50mm chinspoiler!
-
 no problem mate! You havin any luck selling yours?
-
I think i remember years ago you got ones that attached to the standard ones? I think Neuspeed are good if these are the ones Kevhaywire have? Adjustable too i understand!!! Nice one!!! Corrado day out go karting then? LOL
-
Yeah, i did notice, but when i bought mine, values basically crashed and they have crawled back up since, which is nice. But you seem some minters going for silly low prices cause the owners dont know what the got! Didnt someone on here get one from a Lotus guy at your budget - minted? You just have to have a really good trawl and be prepared to travel. Have you ever driven a G60? I'd throw you my keys but your a bit far away! you may get a chance at the club day. sweet talk some people and  !!!!!!DRIVE THEM ALL!!!!!!
-
I was talking to someone at inters about strut braces and he said that he found the front one made his back end twitchy. Im not gonna fit them as i dont want a rear one. One thing i would consider is Bigger anti-roll bars. Talking to someone they say that if you fit only one, it can oversteer or understeer depending if its at the front or the back, so i guess you'd have to get both. which wouldn't be too bad. Supposed to make the hadling like a go-kart too....
-
Have you ever considered a G60 jim? I'm sorry if you've emntioned it before but i was just wondering? It's basically the Golf GTI tried and proven engine but a supercharger that you know can be taken care of by a certain someone!! Are these less likely to be thrashed loose engines like 16v's can be?
-
Rams, not meaning to take away from Supercharged, at all, but it was Joe M, that mentioned the reverse thread.....
