I was just looking through an old hard drive and found some pictures from a meet in MK from 2005. Someone had the idea of driving to the VW garage, one of the salesmen came out and commented "I didnt realise they made so many corrados"

Hello all, I am pretty sure my next car will be a Audi Allroad, the 2.5TDi Quattro. It wont be new of course, I am looking at a 2001-2003 with about 50-100K miles on the clock. They go from anywhere between £6k to £10k depending on spec and mileage. Just wondering if anyone on here has owned one or driven one. I expect someone on here has had a car with this engine in it..............any advice would be great guys. Also before the slagging starts, I need 4 wheel drive, I live in the middle of no where and it will be used to pull a horse box, it will also be called upon to travel down forest roads (adjustable ride height important here), imagine a dirts track with grand canyon size holes in it and you get a fair idea of what I am talking about. I was looking at the Allroad as I would rather die before I got a real 4x4. Thanks.

Two very good points there, I cant see them making it either to be honest, as you say its just too close to the Eos, although I think it looks better. -

I am looking for a Uk insurer who will give you a cover note/policy on line to print out.................i was going to get short term insurance but have discovered that you cant get Tax with this type of policy, i also want to be able to pay monthly as i am only brining the car back to the Uk to sell it......whats the score with canceling insurance early? Cheers guys, i am leaving for the UK on Monday so you can see my problem.

Might give it a go myself then. How many coats did you guys give yours? I know lots of lights coats are better than a few heavy ones. Do i need to sand between coats? I dont have much experience of spraying plastic, just metal.

Any contact details for Andy? what sort of prices are we talking about? Tried the website but its not working........... Cheers guys
-
Yes was thinking about doing it myself, i am pretty good at spraying, have done a few PC cases and i know the procedure...............Its just the time involved, Depending on how much it costs to get someone else to do it, i might give it a go. So halfords will do the paint then?

Anyone know of anywhere around Northampton/MK/Leighton Buzzard areas that would do a good job spraying a grill for the VR6? Also i assume i can get the paint LC6U from most car shops? Cheers

When i press the "arm" button it does "chirp" yes, i think thats what you were asking............i do remember there being two fuses the same in the "Block" so now its just a case of working it out. Thanks for the help you have done me a big favor!
-
On the drivers side, with the fuses, there is a little block (pictured) it will have 3 fuses in it, it may be tucked up somewhere, hidden from view but wont be secured. you have to take off a small bit of the dash to get to the fuses, no biggie though. Thanks a million for this!

For the love of sweet baby jesus, can anyone help me?

Is there any chance someone could tell me what fuses are used in this alarm, not the main alarm (mine is by glove box) but the bit with the other fuses, it has space for 3 fuses and i have lost mine, and cant remember what they were!! Could someone have a look for me...............pretty please!

Anyone know the part Number for..............
godskitchen replied to godskitchen's topic in Suppliers Forum
Nice one, that was driving me mad! Seems fairly inexpensive for VW parts, i know there is not much too them but i had expected them to cost more. -
I am after the part number for the pins that turn the light on and off when the door is open/closed...........i have had a look on my ones but cant see any numbers. anyone know cost also? I also assume the drivers and passengers are the same part number, as the look the same? Thanks guys.
