Looks far too much like a MINI (BMW MINI of course) The truth is we, Corrado owners, will never all be happy with any new VW design, all the crap they have to allow for now kills and original design and pegs back any sort of individualism. They must know that this is not how they want the car too look, car designers (well most of them) have to be more into how a car looks than any of us on here, they have legislation to stick to as well as trying to please the mass market, and we surly all know anything that the masses pick up and like is poo poo! So we will never like. Even if we did like the new car and were happy with it, if it became a success, I dare say many of us would quickly put off it.

I can control the central locking with the door locks but not the pins. yes you do have to take the shelf out to get to it, do you have any idea what the fuses are rated at? it should give you a numbewr on it some where........ cheers

Hello guys, were the fron wheel bearings for the VR6 use on anyother VW car?? Also does anyone have the part number for the vag ones? i know they are by SKF and have searched the forum and their site but cant find it!! Cheers!

Can some kind person with this alarm do me a favour this weekend and PLEASE PLEASE find out for me what fuses they have for the scorpion 5000 alarm. There should be 3 in total. The fuses should be in a separate little box around where the Corrados fuses are, (just about the bonnet release) Here is a picture of the key fob that is with the scorpion 5000 alarm, it should look something like this. Hello to all, its been a while, i have just moved to Ireland and have not had a chance to come on here! Anyway i will get to the problem! I need to jump start the car EVERY day, it will not hold its charge, now i know this is either the Battery or the alty. The car is usind WAY too much Oil, i am topping up every week and if i dont the engine sounds like a 20 year old MK2 FIESTA!!! The coolant levels drop within 2 days causing the warning light to come on! The oil filler cap has white GUNK on it! Two of the HT leads (at the distributor end) when first turning the car on spark continuously untile the car is warm! (could be damp????) The car is also lumpy BIG TIME until its warm! Just to add to my problems the heated seats have gone too!!!! What i need guys is advice on garages in IRELAND, around the MAYO/SLIGO/leitrim areas?? Also how mush damage am i doing to the car by driving it around in its current state??? thanks in advance!!

tried replacing it with an LED but for some reason it just flashed and not very bright either, i will give it another go!!

Sorry guys, i was being relly stupid, its not the LED i need as the switch lights up when the lights are on, its when the switch is PRESSED in to turn the heated rear screen its here where it does not light up so i need the small clear "Blub" took it to maplins and they dont do anything like it.............. so they say!!! Any ideas at all i would like to get this sorted! cheers guys!!
