  1. Provisionally Sold to supa_ant pending payment
  2. I'm based in Teesside, North East England
  3. was going to because they don't have the heater elements built in but deciding to sell these heated ones instead as they're brand new and never got round to fitting them!
  4. they're new, as i'd never got round to fitting them but not genuine VW. Genuine VW mirrors were flat and not convex glass which meant a really narrow field of vision. They are discussed in this thread and work perfectly well http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?58775-Convex-Heated-replacement-mirrors
  5. I have a pair of heated ones for sale >> http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?61741-Pair-of-convex-heated-mirrors-(glass-only)&p=776669#post776669
  6. I have a pair of Pair of convex heated mirrors for sale. I bought them from ebay intending to swap them for my DDI ones (as the DDI ones aren't heated). They really do make a massive difference to your field of vision and improve safety and practicality massively. No more adjusting mirros when reversing! They are still in the packaging, never been fitted, so brand new. I only want what I paid for them as they're sitting around in the garage collecting dust. I paid £20 (inc postage) so thats what I'm looking for.
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PHILIPS-X-TREME-EXTREME-VISION-H4-NEW-HEADLIGHT-BULBS-/230666121017?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35b4c5af39#ht_2331wt_1288 Thats probably as cheap as you'll find them off ebay. They really do make a massive difference even on the standard headlight loom. Its not exactly 100% brighter as the packaging would have you believe but its the length of the beam that makes the biggest difference.
  8. Hey Guys, Just thought I'd post about the Philips X-treme Vision bulbs I just fitted to my VR. The difference they make is incredible. I was using Halfords Brilliance bulbs on a standard headlight loom, and the improvement since fitting the X-treme Visions is incredible. They give a nice crisp white light and the distance of the beam is now almost doubled. These bulbs pretty much negate the need for an uprated loom, the lights on my car are now on par with my mums new 6R Polo! Definitely worth an investment. Supposedly, they retail at £45 but I got mine from eBay for £17 with p&p.
  9. Thanks for that David, it's just with the weather it's been lately, the standard jets don't offer anywhere near enough coverage of the screen!
  10. Does anyone know if there are any "fan spray" washer jets from newer VAG cars that fit the Corrado?
  11. I have it listed on eBay and there are pics there >> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300654535399?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_500wt_1303
  12. My recommendation would be Uniroyal Rainsport 2. Good grip in the dry, excellent grip in the wet and durable. I've had mine on for about 10,000 miles and still have 3mm until the marker.
  13. I'm definitely interested in this for £30 but I need to get back to you in terms of collection. No heat in footwell

Wow, excellent bit of info there as usual David. I'll have that checked this week but it definitely seems something is broken, I can get the heat to the windscreen and upper air vents fine just nothing to the footwell. Thanks again
  15. Hey guys, Basically, the heater controls and heater system in my VR6 work perfectly fine, except when I have the direction pointing towards the footwell. The heater still runs and blows but I'm not feeling any hot air at my feet?! Is it just a case of it being an old car and the heaters not being as good as modern cars or is something not right? In all modern cars I've had when I point the hot air at my feet, it gets really warm down in the footwell but in the Corrado I get nothing and half an hour later my feet are still freezing!
  16. They are LED's but I had it wired up wrong anyhow, had it on BR and 58 instead of BR and 31. Thanks to RW1 and davidwort anyway!
  17. Hi All, I have a brand new iPod Nano gen 6 in silver for sale. Its a replacement product from Apple for my old faulty one so its completely unused and still has the protective film over the screen. Because its a replacement it unfortunately doesn't come with a box or headphones. As with all Apple replacement products it comes with a 90 day guarantee. Taking into account the lack of box and headphones I'm asking for £95 (retail price is £115). This is all inclusive of Special Delivery postage and packaging. NOTE: Payment via paypal only. Thanks guys
  18. Ahh I see, I have it wired to BR and 58 which is where I'm going wrong. Thanks for the excellent knowledge as always RW1!
  19. RW1 - I don't see any connector marked RH or LH. There's BR and BL though, is that what you mean? and as for the wires of the 3rd brake light they are both black wires so no way of telling which is the earth wire!
  20. Cheers Stone, not got a multimeter to hand unfortunately but would definitely appreciate a pic of your setup!
  21. Hey guys. Basically I had a universal 3rd brake light wired up (just plugged into the back of the passenger side rear light). Last month it wasn't working at the MOT test so the MOT guys unplugged it in order for the car to pass. I've now bought a new replacement universal 3rd brake light, but I've forgotten how I originally had the old one wired up. I've managed to get it to work when the headlights are off but as soon as I turn n my sidelights/headlights the 3rd brake light stops working. The way I've wired it is one wire going into the terminal marked "58" and the other wire going into the terminal marked "BR" on the far right as you look at the back of the bulb holder. Can someone confirm whether this is in fact correct (or incorrect as the case may be) and offer anymore insight? Thanks in advance guys Niki
  22. £240 for some plastic?! Does anybody know why the roof strips are so expensive? Or is it a case of they charge it because they can?
  23. If its not too late then I'll take 2 sets (ie 4x rollers) whats your paypal email Alex?
