  1. Sorry for the late reply mate. I'm located in Darlington, I believe you're in Bishop?
  2. Hi everybody, Finally getting round to sorting the rust out, so I'm looking for a rust-free fuel filler neck (don't need full quarter panel, just bodywork around the fuel filler) and a late passenger side front wing. Thanks Nick
  3. Hi mate, do you still have this car? If so whats the rear quarter panel like around the fuel filler? Also looking for a late passenger front wing. Can collect both as I work in Darlo.
  4. Not in any rush really, so just as and when you decide to scrap the shell. If I could get dibs on the passenger wing and the cut out of the fuel filler area that would be awesome mate.
  5. Is the passenger side front wing still available? If so is it rot free? Also, whats the 3/4 panel around the fuel filler like?
  6. Hi, whats the bodywork around the fuel filler like? If its rot-free, would you be willing to cut it out? Also, whats the passenger side front wing like? Is it a late wing?
  7. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a trustworthy garage in SE London for MOT and general servicing? Its not for the Corrado, but for my sisters Mitsubishi Colt, some cowboy in the garage she went to tried to rip her off by claiming her air con wasn't working because the air con pump/compressor was 'missing' (yet the auxiliary belt still managed to power the alternator, water pump etc). Any recommendations would be welcome, thanks in advance. Nick
  8. Grinding away the two lobes in the standard wiper arms help massively, I did this and got some Bosch Super Plus blades and they work perfectly 95% of the time.
  9. I'll take all 4 tyres - can I arrange my own courier?
  10. "this is a complete engine and gearbox there is no supercharger or ecu" How is it a complete engine then?!
  11. Hi, I'm looking for a passenger side front wing if thats still available
  12. Is that the brown connector on the loom or the black one?
  13. Hey Guys, So I got a Connects 2 Aux box to hook up to the Gamma IV HU but I need to wire the box to a 12V power source in order for it to work. The box connects to the CD changer socket on the back of the HU to fool it into thinking theres a CD changer connected. But theres a loose red wire which I need to hook up to 12V power. I'm ok with a spanner but when it comes to electricals I'm a bit of a noob! Do I connect the red wire to one of the 2 connectors on the OEM loom? A mate of mine suggested connecting the wire to the cigarette lighter but not sure if thats correct and just want to find out for sure before I blow something in the dash! Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance guys! Nick
  14. Cheers fellas, decided to go for a Connects 2 line out instead for £30!
  15. I have since found out that it would be a pain to try and make the kenwood changer fit. Anyone have any ideas which model VW branded CD changer will work with the Gamma IV?
  16. Hey guys, I just got hold of a Gamma IV head unit and I have an old Kenwood CD Changer with a 13 pin lead attached (square head). I was just wondering what I need to hook the old CD changer to the Gamma IV head unit if in fact it can be done. Pics of the Kenwood lead can be provided if it makes life easier! Thanks in advance!
  17. Alright Steve, I was having a chat with a a fellow who works at Lookers in Boro about your car! I'm working in Darlington now so I'll keep a lookout for you
  18. I'll have this off you Pat. Can you send me a PM with payment details etc. Cheers mate
  19. They were fitted by the dealer from new, so don't know which ones were used, but I've heard that the rear ones for a Golf MkII/III fit. Don't quote me on that though, just what I read on Vortex a few months ago
  20. Whats the stud pattern for these? Whats brand and size are the tyres?
  21. No worries! Glad to be of help. I just thought I'd have a gamble on them as a last resort before hacking up my headlight loom and it seems to have paid off well!
