Was is it a private or dealer sale
-
The 5 bolts that hold the steel end plate on are N 101 430 03 (M7 x 20).Good luck with getting them from a main dealers.
Would love to see the price of them, Peugeot use the same size to hold the clutch plate on and charge something like £3 a bolt!!!
I may have some spares though ;)
-
Most small independant spares places keep a range of single leads, take your old one with you they may be able to match it up
-
So the ones you are fitting are totally different then??
Afaik as standard they go to the top, and the handbrake cable goes to the bottom.
Look at the pictures on page 87 of Riley's epic build thread, then can you edit your post from earlier today as there is actually nothing wrong with the lines it's down to what your fitting which I'm not exactly sure us what!!
Also look here for further images

I can get you a new set of lines made up yes but need to know what length you want the I can get a price for them
-
Hi sorry you have had an issue.
But, the lines supplied are the same length as standard just with a mk4 type fitting on the end.
They just replace the last section if flexi hose, from the caliper to the first join.
Plenty of others have fitted them and commented on how well the rears fit and the quality including John Mitchell racing, they even feature in Riley write up which is on the volksdevile site and linked to a number of others.

All paid for orders posted
Those that orderd full sets will get them via the post mans van as they weigh too much for a normal post man to deliver
Plenty of all available
-
Enjoy the bill at vwWon't be cheap!!
If you could get the sizes of all the bolts you require I'm sure I could source them all cheaper
-
I think using washers would be the correct way with these bolts, quite a small head on them compared to the oem flange headThank you
Glad I'm not the only person who knows why certain specs are used or how to replicate them.
-
Can start an initial run pretty much asap, my supplier only had enough in stock for 5 kits so i'll begin with that.As far as the washer query goes...? Standard bolts don't have washers, yes they are flange head allen bolts but i don't see why these tightened to the correct torque won't fit the bill.
1. Goldie
2. Dan_Storm
3. Benjevw
4. Dude VR6
5. Rams
If a mod could move this over to Group Buys, I'll get this rolling.
The flange head spreads the load just like the washer would do.
The use of a washer would replicate the flange head, so it's either use washers or supply flange head bolts
-
You got a size for them??
And I'll see what I can.
-
I'd just work out what the internal diameter of the hose is and go onto eBay and order a few meters of it.
-
hi
yes all of the bolts are for the vr6
thanks
-
In here i will list all of the bolts that i can supply in stainless steel, all will come with washers and prices included postage.
If any one wants any other items please ask and ill see what i can do.
Upper cam timing cover £8
lower cam timing cover £5
coil pack securing bolts £4
thermostat housing £7
sump £7
inlet manifold upper and lower £11
is an example of how they will look
i can do a bit of discount on multiple purchases
-
Then you have to factor in time to process, envelopes and postage I'd imagine a price if around £7 to be about right
-
100 bolts = £6.79inc postThat's not so bad, viewing from phone so didn't see it was for qty ten
-
-
Not having looked at the sump bolts but I suspect they are a flange head or have a floating washer built in to them.
No bolt should be fitted with out a washer , they help spread the load area of the bolt and in this case the area that is clamped, will only be by a few mm around the head of the bolt but it all helps
-
You need to fit washers with them or was that just a trial fitting?
Should of asked chap as I have a few hundred of these bolts sat on the shelf
-
The brake hoses look like body to axle rather than rear caliper flexis?---------- Post added at 7:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:11 PM ----------
Quoted from your ad
Agreed
-
Sounds more like the handbrake mechanism isn't releasing.
Could also be the cable sticking
-
Hi mate
The full six line kit I can do you for £75
Only other thing you would need is brakefluid
-
I can get you some see my thread in suppliers forum
