Im looking at doing the mk4 rear conversion some point this year and although you they fit straight on with out the need of calipers and using the original discs.Dont the mk4 rears use 232mm or 256mm discs? and can these be used on the rears as well as the calipers? Also what extra would be needed to make thee fit?
is the brake lines you need, custom made and only available from that supplier via me

realy copper slip shoundnt be used on moving parts like the sliders as it is mildly abrasive so over many many movements it can cause wear on items.
far better off to get some of this
-
Pagid sell a tube of special grease for this purpose, i have had some in my tool box for years and still plenty left as you only need a smear
i got my last tube from GSF and it was only a few quid

what is the underside of the battery cover like - my concern is the risk of shorting the battery?it was just plain metal, but i got some rubber sheet and stuck it to the areas above the terminals.
the cover sat a good hlaf cm plus above the terminals
-
i had it made up for me by a local stainless steel fabricators, they made it from an off cut that would otherwise of being scrapped so it only cost me £15
as for the bolts, i now have a very good and cheap supplier, so if you can provide me with length, thread and size then i can supply nearly all the bolts in stainless steel or bright zinc plate

furbers at preesthat will be a car for sale, either cat c or d.
Agreed. If it was at their site in Whixall, it'd be Cat A or B
not striclty true,
cat a cars can not be used for parts in any way, normaly down to either a fire and the chemicals given off by the burning process or a fatality in the car
CAT A crush only
CAT B parts only can not return to the road
CAT C AND D unecomical for insurer to repair but can be sold on to be privatly repaired.
ive always prefered the cars from furbers at childs ercall, but then againmy uncle grew up with the owners from there so we get a good discount.
havent being for years though, wonder if the steel wide arched renault five shell is still there?
had being altered to take ford 4 x 4 turbo running gear

hmm sure i had some pictures in that post above.
it all started out a few years ago when i was after some braided lines for my peugeot, i was put in touch with these guys, a group buy for the 306gti6 forum followed, then one on the saxo forum and 106 forum and things have kind of snowballed from there.
now i have posts on a few forums and on ebay (9657adriana is the user name, though i am trying to do one just for my car parts and that is kaarparts1)
generaly selling a few sets of lines a week of variuos sorts, where i differ from the likes of goodridge is that as the lines are made to order they can be tailored to suit each person.
the company who make them for me dont have a website, they trade by there reputation on the motorsport circuits, where they supply everything from this type of brake line to full on braided kits made to order and even fueling items including FIA spec sampling rigs
AX gt kit in green
205 1.9gti kit, this fits perfectly unlike the one goodridge make
saxo kit in blue
mk3 seat ibiza kit
new style name tags
all prices include recorded 1st class delivery to any address you choose
payment is via paypal mainly though i can take bank transfer
and if people prefer i can list on ebay so you feel that bit safer

hi there, and let me show and tell you abit about what i can offer you all
i am in a postion to be able to get high quality motorsport specification braided stainless steel brake lines made up.
the hose is ptfe lined and sourced from America as the company that make them believe the quality is better, all the end fittings are made in house to there own specifications to ensure quality.
standered ends are zinc plated mild steel.
the lines are made by a company called Exact engineering, these guys are well known on the pro race and rally circuit and exhibit each year at the Autosport international show.
here is a list of all the items i can offer the good users of this forum
stainless braided brake lines
