All in, how much do you think your conversion cost? Also, what does the 24v sound like?!! I think he got it for a very reasonable price as it was PSI's first one. In saying that the 24v engine may be a bit cheaper now though? Try giving PSI a phone and see what Andy says price wise. As for the sound, I absolutely love it :D . I used to have a Storm with a PiperX viper kit on it and I reckon the 24v with a K&N is way nicer than that 8)

He wants to keep the grill which is fair enough. Don't worry about the clocks as it gives me something to do. I'm gonna try the red tints as they look pretty nice against the blackberry which isn't that different. I may be wrong of course and decide against it! Let me know if you have any joy with the trim/loom :)

Stan, Not sure on those lights. Have a spare set of standard lights so going to tint them and see what they're like. Junkie, Not that much planned yet as bit skint. Cosmetic changes first including the rear tints, original grill (with 24v badge?), badges back to silver (maybe?), red calipers (maybe?), change the rest of the internel leds to red including the clocks and new mats (with 24v badge?). Fancy sorting the air intake/filter soon. Eh, after that I might think about new wheels or even some sort of LSD to help put the power down better but not looked into that yet. That'll be after Christmas anyway. Further (well further) down the line there's the obvious choice of turbo or supercharger :shock: ! Need to save the pennies for that!? Any suggestions welcome of course. Cheers, James

Don't think we have. How long have you had it? I can't remember the last time I saw a sherry Corrado. I'll give you a wave if I see you. Actually selling my VR at the moment as have bought Stan's 24v. Might pop along to 1st meet in August if I have it by then.........

I've already created a post to exclaim the fact I have bought another C as I was pretty excited about it. Thought I might as well say hello to the Scottish C's too (I'm based in Edinburgh)! At Star just now getting a new magnex exhaust, throttle cable and the service. Still a bit more to be done to repair the usual wear n' tear of a car this age but I won't bother starting a list - I can see my savings being swallowed up in one go!! Can't wait to go for a good drive on Saturday after I've been to collect her. Anyway, how many C's do we have in/around Edinburgh? I'll read through the posts to see if I can figure it out........

Cheers for the comments everyone. Think I'll keep my username for now, you never know, I might buy another blue storm some day.............. Is there usually a good turn out for the VAG meet in Edinburgh? Not sure if I can make the next one in July but should be ok for August.

Good shout Rodders. Mileage is 89,000 with black leather. Paid £4k which I was pretty happy with. It just feels so good driving a VR again!

After selling my storm a couple of years ago (to fund a year travelling), I've finally found another C. Couldn't quite afford another storm at present as saving up to go away again. Anyway, flew down from Edinburgh to Cardiff today and bought a nice dragon green VR6 with good mileage. Enjoyed the drive back although it did take a while in the rain. It's totally standard apart from the plates. It's due a service so Star Performance (free plug) will be getting a phone call tomorrow! Red Rado on A75 (eastbound) at around 5pm last night? Flashed my lights and got a wave back. G60?

I've got the PiperX Viper on mine. Don't think it makes much difference but it looks well enough. Bit on the expensive side though.

Just got a new set of 16" BBS RX's from Halfords which were supposed to come with Toyo T1-S's but have actually been fitted with Uniroyal Rainsports. Does anyone know if there is much difference between them price/performance wise? I've had a quick look through Google but can't find much. Cheers James
