  1. those are the rears... i have a set of the front ones but not the rears yet , whats the part number???) yes the rears do wear and aparently when they wear they lower the car up to 20mm 8) ...or not..
  2. sp does it just stick to the carpet or do you need to attach the other part of the velcrow to the carpet first??
  3. nice... it does take quite alot of room doesnt it!! so it stays in place just using the velcrow??? wow i wouldnt have expected that!!
  4. ah hows the screen and lights going...i have been doing bits all day aswell. done the brakes and gave it a damn good clean. so you just use the standard 5mm bulb?? wow, you got a lot of light from that from what i remember your pannel looking like!
  5. right............. which bulb do you use though? just so i know for when the optics are working?
  6. well its pretty easy actually. just done it. few things to add to this make sure you have a couple for spare screws for the discs... the single screw that holds the disc on, mine broke when i took them off. second.. make sure you have a big enough G clamp to fit around the caliper and push the piston back in!! i didnt and had to get one before i could finish.
  7. yeah yeah i have loads to mess with :? [counts] erm.......1.............2.......hmmmm, that'll be 2 then [/counts] it'll be fine.... 8) im more worried about getting my heater pannel lit up properly now thanks for all your help though....and im sure i'll need to ask you stuff again in the future you must think im a complete no brainer....cant do bulbs , cant do brakes!!!
  8. cheers. yes i have soldered before but made a bit of a mess... but i do know that i cannot allow it to short!
  9. i have seen keyhaywires panel though and it is nice and bright...i think i may have just used the wring bulb??? KEV, help!!! your piano playing is great
  10. right.. got my side lights LED's. Firstly how should i go about getting them out of the plastic housing without damaging the LEDs? Secondly do both of the prongs solder to the metal pip in the bulb bayonet base? any pics of when you did it stormseeker? ta
  11. wanted to resurect this... fitted an LED to my controls today and it doesnt seem as bright as the old bulb, (broke the bulb getting it out so i cant swap back now :x ) i put this in....the 501 are too big to fit into the holder! http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_info ... 01b3c70a44
  12. some cool looking corrados there. 8)
  13. from when i looked around toyos were the best for the cheapest price to be honest.... dont go cutting cost on your tyres...it will always lead to a horrible crash!!!
  14. dumb question maybe...but if you want toyo's ...why dont you just buy toyos? :?
  15. coo, so maybe its just a false alarm....i'll give it a go if i dont have to play with the fluid....and then i'll get the fluid changed when i have my next service.
  16. ah...... guess my engine is just better than yours
  17. im sure its not the case. i have never heard it before. My old honda had ABS and im sure the mecanic didnt do that when he just changed pads.
  18. that only shows how to move part of the caliper... the bit with the pads...there is still a bit covering the discs. i really dont want to go to the hassle of bleeding the brakes afterwards to be honest. looks like i may just pay someone to do it after all!
  19. ignore the led in the second pic... these pics are for if you want to upgrade to the LED sidelights but they show you the bits you want for this particular topic!
  20. nope. the actual bulb is the twist in bayonet bulb....it sits in a holder. that holder is the thing you pull in and out. i'll post a pic
  21. my oil normally runs between 95-110 degrees when on motorway on fast back roads.. what benefit would i get from using an oil cooler??? if the engine was designed to withstand that temp, why make it cooler? im not sure if i can fit one anyway as i have the aircon rad aswell leaving no room atall!!
  22. £400 inc VAT will get you 40mm lower with koni springs and koni TA shocks.... ok the ride might be a bit morse harsh than the H&R springs but if you want to go low and cant afford to splash out on the H&R's then its the way to go. I have driven both set up's and IMO the koni's werent all that much more bumpy than the H&R's and there significantly cheaper!!! i got the suspension from Larkspeed BTW
  23. ok ta. i just had a look at this....i need to change the discs as well...is it much more work to get the rest of the caliper off?
  24. there are only 2 types of side light. The 501 bulb which just pushes in (wedge shaped) and the one the corrado uses the ??? bulb....cant remember its bloody number but its basicly the one with a 5mm bayonet connection.
  25. lol, im going nuts.... its back again now???
