who are gsf? and how much is their exhaust yes i would like to know what the result is regards
-
i'll get the car running properly, then sort out the exhaust and mod the induction box slightly... and then if i have any money left i will take it to AmD :D sounds like a plan batman
-
from a sensor!? maybe its that then??
-
i have just seen that the replacement exhaust from euro parts is £475 for the centre and back box  so the milltek is a bargin??!!?
-
im learning so much tonight  i think i'll get it set up using normal petrol then just to be on the safe side. One more question just before bed time :) what did you do to mod your air box (i read that you did it in another thread) any pics of what has been done as you said you were happy with it.... ta

Ok a quick summary... I plan on doing this asap and am very apreciative to kev for the offer but would sensors make a difference to the power and if so which ones (sorry probably a dumb question .......... thats what im going to see kev for isnt it  ) thats what i was thinking... right i'll look into doing those things first then! so if i get it re tuned with normal tescos petrol and then start using optimax down the line somewhere it will mess up the settings? or if i get it tuned with optimax can i never go back to using the cheap stuff?? thanks for all your advice though guys :D :D

i dont want huge power gains but i do want the car to feel like i expected a v6 to feel. maybe mine just needs a service or maybe there is something else wrong (vag com should tell me that when i get round to visiting kevheywire) i dont know??? whould you fit the exhaust and then have the re-chip (i.e will they tune the car to the exhaust) or isnt it that specific??? cheers
-
has it improved your flat spots then? Bicester isnt to far away from me. Is AmD the best place to do this or should i shop around so to speak? in your eyes has the re-chip been worth the money?
-
time to resurect this thread as i am thinking of getting my car done now... the questiong of was never answered...
-
which tune did you get done at AmD? the £250 one???
-
so the exhast is worth doing as there are improvements over the OEM setup even though its not the whole system? Whould you get the CAT replacement system aswell... their quoting about £350 for that alone
-
Been looking into the world of corrado tuning. Its a quick car but its feels so flat in places. Although my CRX was slower on paper, it felt alot more responsive due to the way it is tuned. Anyway i found this site Amd - Corrado Page has anyone used them before and is it actually worth paying the money for what you get back??? I.E does it make a noticable difference? Also the Milltek exhaust is only CAT back, is there any point doing this? the CAT and anything before that is still the standard size so surely it wont make any difference (apart from how it looks) in which case surely your better off getting just a back box? Thanks for the help Nathan

fantastic, i bought my 95 VR6 for £4600. must be worth at least £8000 by now, maybe £12000 my tomorrow morning :D
-
Very nice reveiw (if not a little short). Does this mean the longer we hang onto the corrado the more it will go up in value??
-
hey..........why have you only got one wiper on in those pics!!!??? not the perfect example of a VR6 we all thought now is it :D  I have 2 wipers if top gear ever wish to drive another corrado 2hrs till top gear and counting
-
i love that colour... it makes my classic green look old and boring!!! maybe after a good polish mine will look a bit more 'lively'
-
Buying a VR6, some Qs, esp. re 15" whels

hey if it has no VR6 badges just make sure its not an engine swap... like the others say, check for the 5 stud wheels. if its only 4 then its had a new heart!! -
i had a scorpion on my old car..... it gets really annoying on the motorway but sounds great around town!!
-
yeah they feel fine and the fluid hasnt gone down anymore...its probably just another quirky corrado thing but i didnt want to just leave it with out knowing.... brakes are kinda important and all. cheers

i just like the choice of news paper used to cover the windows when you did the re-spray!!! Im easily pleased :) -
the fact that all this happens as soon as it starts raining sugest rain water to me????? i hope!
-
oh and if my heater is still blowing nice hot air i presume my heater matrix is ok?? so its rain water getting in somewhere. it has been raining all night and all morning so this seems logical
-
should there be anywater underneath that plastic cover?? mine was saoked and there were leaves. i cleared the leaves and tried to dry up the water but my passenger carpet was so wet it'll be a while before i know if it has fixed it.

My friend in cambridge also has a corrado vr6 and has recently put (what he insists are) koni coilovers on his car. he says he paid around £340 from a mail order company..... sounds great but what should i look out for? i have heard the cheaper ones are not official koni springs (or dampers cant remember which) if they are genuine it sounds like a bargin to be honest!
