    On my previous cars i could just pull the leads off the plugs but the VR6 has then set very far down! i dont want to pull the leads incase i damages them can anyone recomend some kind of tool i can buy to reach down into the tiny gap and grab the actual metal plug part of the lead?? thanks

    you pretty much answered it yourself really.. headlight loom from a guy on this forum or build your own (there are many threads on this) lupo wipers (one big thread on this) exhaust (group buy on magnex currently underway again see thread) airbox...something you can look into but there have also been threads on this Another this is lowering the ride height...most people do that as the corrado sits so high!! what colour storm do you have by the way?

    CIPO, the system isnt really designed to give any power incease on its own... maybe it'll improve the air flow slightly but it will not make 15bhp for you! i wish it would what it does do is looks and sounds great and is guaranteed for a lifetime (for as long as you own the car) so you never actually have to pay out for a cat back section of exhaust again. if your SERIOUSLY modding you corrado, i mean with turbos and nos etc... then the exhaust would just help with the air flow a little

    Leonard, saying that though... i do like the ride height and the painted rear number plate surround. what springs and shocks do you have on??

    what size tyres are those? just the normal 205/40? whats the alternating for 215 width?

    I bought some corrado carpet mats from ECP for about £20. The drivers side is fitted to the C's footwell and it seems to be made of of strong enough stuff...but for £20 there a bargin!!! the drivers side does have a poxey crappy cheap "corrado" badge but that can just "pop" right off and you got yourself 4 nice black carpet mats :D im please

    hmm, still not sure... guess i'll just have to wait an dsee what mine looks like.... maybe it is just the wheels and tyres are slightly different but i would be a bit dissapointed if mine ends up looking the high still :( oh and its peeing down here in cambs aswell :D

    i have michelin pilot exalto on my VR I used the toyo T1-S on my crx and they were brilliant (wore a little quickly though) Toyo are also the main choice for TVR and the EVO range so they must be good :D

    when i parked my corrado next to my mk2 crx...... the corrado lost by a BIG margin on looks im affraid. but its still a good car

    i did 1000 miles in my first week of *stary eye'd* corrado ownership...mostly now though i do town driving so i get crap MPG but only pu on 200 miles or so per week

    How do you attach thumbnails??? Ok so the wheels will be set in more and the tyre size is different so that wont help... Must just be me being paranoid

    sorry for hijacking your thread but im worried now.... see this is how low i hoped it would be EDIT....see thumbnail below-vr6storm :wink: thats on eibach springs and IRC they lower 30 ish or am i imagining things cause its late in the day and it is actually the same drop ??? :scratch:

    i mean it looks nice, but i remember kevhaywire's being lower and the H&R (on paper) only give a 30mm as opposed to the koni 40mm?? What size tyres do you run?

    :scratch: so i can use 10w40 SEMI synthetic in the VR6?? i thought one of the previous threads on VR6 oil said to use 15w40?? :scratch: just wanna be clear on this before i fill mine up with the wrong stuff!

    im using bosch super blue h4 and h3 bulbs (normall wattage) from ECP and they are a vast improvement already.... im fitting my loom at the weekend and hope to see yet another improvement! next thing is the fog lights.... foggy all day yesterday and everyone elses fog lights are nice a bright white.....Corrado ones....dull yellow!!! cant they get the lighting sorted BEFORE selling them too general public?? :roll: we should all work at VW, make a proper car! :)
