yeah i have a colour coded grill (where was the selling mistake) but this is where you get really confused... :D i now have storm wheels!! the speedlines are in the shed waiting to be posted to the new owner......NOW the only difference is a few badges and im there! if you cant buy one, make one! how do i check if it was a storm? should it not be on the Licence form??
-
ah i thought that was just a thread about "the spoiler is broken" not "is it effective" i'll have a look
-
does the spoiler actually do anything then? i thought it was just for looks?? its not much of a spoiler so i didnt think it would actually do anything Shame they didnt do the 4-wheel drive system. that would have been awsome!

oh and my leak is definately rain related as it has been dry for 2 days now and the carpets are all dry and i have been blowing hot hot air the whole time

i have a chiped screen on my VR. does it affect your insurance to claim for a new one?

the fuel gauge is 15 gallons with 8 as the half way point the revs are 7000rpm with the red starting about 6500rpm. i can take a pic tonight if i remember. you reckon the original will be behind it still? -
too right.. enjoying it too much i think actually. i put 1000 miles on the car in 2 weeks  . i will have to not drive it so much over the next month to try and equal it out The storm wheels look the nuts i'm so happy with them and i got them for an absolute bargin :D :D £250 with brand new michelin pilots, then i got £150 for my old wheels so in total i paid £100 for a new set of tyres with vgc alloys !!! how happy was i :D

yeah my car now looks like a storm as i have just fitted the storm wheels... :D :D but my dash is black?? is that right?
-
nice cream interior... hopefully after a damn good clean mine will look like that (think i might need the front 2 seats re-trimmed??) what colour is your dash? it looks a cream from the pics?

ok i'll try it.... although i never have liked the idea of taking the dials apart... kinda freaks me out a little bit :( :? if i unplug all the speedo will it loose its current mileage? -
do you not have any leather at the moment then?? how much would they charge to re-trim the front seats only in cream?? i'd like to get mine done at some point. all the rear seats and door cards are lovely.

i dont think the dials are original. they are white (it is a cream leather interior) but i thought all the vr6 dials were black??? i'll check what the max is when i go home tonight -
is there any more for a VR6?? i see that section is fairly empty and i am going to do a service on the car this weekend. anything else apart from the "all models" stuff i should do to this car?

I used my gps again yesterday. the speedo is way out.. 100 indicated on the car is only 88 on GPS. Does this mean my car will put more mile on the speedo than it is actually doing??? Can this be calibrated? thanks -
i dont think its the door seals on mine as i have actually seen the water drip from under the dash (i have been driving around with the passenger side all in bits the last few days. Thing is when i poored loads of water over the passenger side of the screen and the sunroof and the bonnet area nothing came in..... then it rains and it gets wet????? i dont get it
-
ggggrrrrr wet patch it back. I have all the carpet rolled up in the front at the mo trying to get dry from last time. I thought i had fixed it. The air blower cover is fitted correctly with no leave underneath it. when it was dry yesterday i tipped bucket loads of water over the screen and bonet area with my dad inside the car and nothing came through.... today, a little bit of rain and its wet inside again... the back is not wet infact tonight i saw watter drip from under the dash... where is it getting in? is it a bad thing if i run sealant along the seam on the scuttle panel?????
-
which ngk's did you use? the plat's?
-
why bosch as opposed to ngk?
-
i see this has been talked about before to an extent but i didnt see the answer i was looking for..... I can get 6 x NGK plugs at the following prices BKR5EKUP for £31.74 (platinum) BKR5EKU for £15.54 (normal) Which ones should i get? are the plats worth double the price??
-
I guess its all a matter of taste but i do like the look of that stainless steel oval poking out the back of a car. The Audi RS range and other performance type cars all have a nice oval so why shouldnt the corrado :D
-
thanks guys, i did see that bolt at the front, but i didnt think it was anything to do with the seat coming out. cheers
-
really easy one for you this is!! how do the front seats come out??? my old car was easy, just 4 bots attaching the subframe of the seat of the car... these ones dont have that i have a VR6 if that makes a difference ta
-
ah i see. i'll try later tonight maybe. thanks

rain has stopped and carpet is dryer than yesterday. looks like it was the rain so next job it to check where it was coming in. I'll check all the places you said it could be
