Have recently picked a set of VDO gauges from a vw breakers, they have the relevant wiring with them but only about 6" of it! have managed to find a wiring diagram on the site which is very helpful, my question is to do with oil pressure switch! i have read that alot about duel pole senders but i was wondering if i can do it from a single pole? and which one? i know there are 2 senders on top of the oil filter housing, (high and low) but i just need to know which one? my other question is! is it possible to do the wirirng behind the dash with out tracing wires into the engine bay? if so any pointer as to where and the wire colours?

if you do decide to split i would be interested in the passengers front seat and the footrest by the clutch pedal.

i have said gear shift pattern badge removed now! only thing is some of the blacking has come away with the glue, the silver gear pattern is intact so i would think you should be able paint the back black again or remove the rest of the black and paint any colour you like? if you would like this let me know.

i have one of these, well i will have if it detaches from the gear knob ok? i have to replace mine! i will remove the knob and see if it detaches ok later, then will let you know.
