Also i have been greeted with this in the mornings recently; yep, got water inside on the carpet, heater matrix has small crack in :( so, yesterday i got to work... this is the point where i already started feeling a bit nervous  Everything is out and labelled Dash out, not a pretty sight after that i had a bit of a nightmare, had to take out my scuttle panel, and all my boost pipework etc, my dad came and gave me a hand and i have his blood around the engine bay to prove it  but after a couple hours of swearing we got the b@stard out :) but after spending so long getting it all out and changed over, it was getting on and i needed the car for work today, so i had to bodge it up and leave it for this weekend as i didnt want to rush it, so its currently looking like this at least its not leaking any more  will get it all dry inside, its not too bad as it was such a small leak! i have a heating seat loom and switch to put in as well so i can have a warm ass in the mornings, so will get it all back nicely this weekend, hopefully its dry

just some of the coatings i have applied to get me through winter driving Gtechniq C1 nanocoat - permanently bonds to paint to protect it :D Gtechniq G3 and G4 - applied on windows, can drive without wipers over 50mph which has big bonus in a corrado :norty: Gummi Pflege Stift - applied to all seals, revives them and stops them freezing G3 only lasts a couple months, G1 lasts 6 months so i will apply that soon!

its also like saying its more fun thrashing a valver than giving the VR6 a spirited drive, i know which one i would be rather doing, VR every time
-
i prefer being able to drive fast if i want to its boring having a fast car and driving slow like most porsche drivers...
-
much appreciated! it is just how i like a corrado to look to be honest, they dont need much doing to them i dont think, they look the nuts anyway :)

cheers mate! the old wheels are sold now :( and i didnt machine polish the bumpers, they both need respraying so i didnt bother with them as i hope to have them sprayed soonish... i have a small backing plate and 4 inch pads though for hard to get at areas, shouldnt be a problem really, but might be better taking them off other wise your back could end up quite bad

Oh, and i finally got a rolling road pic for my thread :D with my mug shot in to

cheers Abdul! only just seen your post, i mainly use Optimum, FinishKare, Gtehcniq, Menz polishes and Serious Performance products nowadays. Have used LOADS over the last year and spend a small fortune, but finally settled on products which do the business for me and im more than happy Have recently applied Gtechniq C1 Nanocoat to my car, which i managed to get my hands on :D Its like adding an extra layer of laquer to the paint, it sheets water amazingly, and beads really nice as well! It should last me over a year as well, no more waxing for me

great guide! would never of attempted it without this, but i managed to get the new matrix in yesterday, but had to put the seat, wheel and clocks back in to drive to work in it this morning  took a lot longer than i thought it would, but i had boost pipes in the way etc! is there an easy way to get the clips off the pipes, they were a right pain and i had to use mole grips in the end, but still took ages!!!!

the rolling mug shot

i think i had 30mm at least for the rears with 8's, and they were perfect, so 40mm should be good as you have flared arches (note: my memory isnt the best  )

oh, but i did claim whip lash and had a few physio sessions, got a pay out of £1700 for that which helped make up for what i lost, claim for what you can i say

only just seen this thread, feel for you mate! been there as well, i had someone write off my VR last year :( a new rear panel and rear wing from vw is expensive, i paid £1300 or something all in to have it fitted, thats without having it painted, and didnt include new rear bumper, lights etc... i got it repaired and my mate has since brought it off me and had it resprayed, but i would say its a write off that :(
-
my car could do with some of that on it
