cheers, it does look a lot more purposeful, and they are ET30 it is a great colour, mine always looks black out of the direct sunlight, then it goes blue with a bit of flake pop no rubbing, clearance looks like 4/5mm and the handling hasnt changed with the extra weight so im pretty chuffed with them, looks awesome in the flesh thanks, its getting there now

upgraded my wipers front and back with polo aero ones this week, can see in the rain now! front clips are pretty neat back and today got the rubber changed over and got the comps on, im liking the look of my car much more now 8) think my heater matrix has cracked as i have mist in my windows in the morning, can smell horrible smell with fans on and coolant is leaking really slowly from somewhere, so that should be fun :lol:

thought they only came in 6/7/8/9 widths? i love D90's, i had a polished set with H&R adaptors before i got the VRT, then the brakes became an issue... i would be at least trying them as you could easily sell them on here for what you paid for them or even more :D

maybe i left air in the system which probly didnt help?? think i will just change the bloody thing then next wkend :lol: thanks for the replies guys...

yeah it is, but there will be ways around most of it, people still drive older classics and manage, im sure we will be fine :D

i definately have a small coolant leak, think everything points to the matrix :pale: is there an easy way of finding out 100% if it is my matrix? looks like im going to be busy this weekend or next :lol:

oh dear think thats it kev... found my coolant level low after chnaging the rad, have topped it up and its been fine but suspected another small leak somewhere? it does smell dodgy when i turn the fans on to, straight away in fact :(

its a misted up in the morning thing. only the front windscreen (mainly on the left to), then if i drive without fans on the rear screen quickly steams up and the side windows to... but if the failed foilage seal goes wouldnt i have water somewhere?

i find the TT seats more uncomfortable than the rado seats, so does my mrs, but they do look good in there... loving the pics from the track again mate :salute:

the last few crisp mornings my windows have been a bit misted. When this happened in my golf gti it was because the bloody carpet was soaking, so i had to scrape both inside and outside which was fun :lol: there doesnt seem to be any damp patches, any ideas :scratch: my valver was the same, but my old VR6 was fine, so not sure if its normal tbh

4 wheel drive is the next "thing" imo, we have had supercharged, now since vinces VRT setup everyone seems to be busy with turbos, so next we will all be wanting 4 wheel drive :D i brought my VRT for £6k, so as above really, 5-6k sounds fair maybe :scratch:

how about putting 2 engines in and 4wd :norty:

i would be looking at fk1000p to start, but there are a few nano technology products kicking about now which will give it protection 2/3 times longer than any sealant/wax on the market, have a look at this one, lasts up to 2 years and even stops scratches, should be out soon hopefully... http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... p?t=183578
