how much is a VW rad? i fitted one last week but it was a VW reconditioned one painted black, it was £100. may be worth seeing if you can source one of those?

should just get away with ET30, better safe than sorry as i would prefer a few mil gap. 3rd september is the cut off date then, still time for people to get cheap deal otherwise prices go back to normal!

yep visit was good, definately was worth me and Ben getting them to measure clearance etc! wasnt impressed with the finish on the wheels in the waiting room, but think they were all pretty old and needed updating for sure! really looking forward to the phone call now :D and did John not order anything in the end then??

sure are :norty: and yeah changing the rad wasnt that bad at all, if i knew it was that easy i would of just done it myself in the first place!

small update from the last few weeks - had new pads all round fitted and had to replace the radiator as it had cracked. the garage wanted 3-4 hours labour so just done it myself also went to bug jam with my mate, will be going VW action with 2 other corrados next weekend, not with my old valver though as thats still in my mates garage being done up" apparently :lol: and lastly i have ordered some new wheels which will be here next month 8)

im all paid :D me and Ben had to get ET30 because of the brembos... good day cruising around, i didnt get in to 9pm in the end either boys :eek: :lol:

swirls and orange peel are VERY common on new cars, see it all the time! they do like giving you some extra paint and laquer :lol: i would 100% wet sand it

the to do list will never get done mate, there will always be something!!!!!! the vf engineering mounts certainly make the engine part of the car, just feels like someones welded the bloody thing in :lol:

i am defo getting vibra technics, crazy dave took me out in his VRT and it was best of both worlds :D

the sensor could be faulty or it justs needs topping up, maybe you have a small leak?

yeah i wait until the water temp starts rising, then i know i can change my mfa to oil temp and it will be over 50. Then i wait for when i can boot it, whilst also checking the petrol and wallet! payday the car always gets thrashed as well, later in the month i poodle round :lol:
