alright Rob!! hope the cars still going strong mate, you had left after i took Charlie for a ride so didnt get a chance to show you the VRT, maybe at a future meet or show, would love to see what yours is made of to!! anyway, was just browsing and heard someone using the late style fogs in the early spec bumper, just thought of you when i read it, so maybe have a look into it and you could just swap yours over so they are flush...??

pain in the rear, money could be spent elsewhere but oh well, hopefully wont be putting in another... not good is it, Hopefully mine all comes out nice so i have spare bits, even though i think its not the orginal screen as the seal at the top pops out way too easy...

thats made me chuckle, my mate had one of those and spent thousands and thousands on it, it broke down and had problems almost monthly still.... i also know 2 people who had 1.2's, same story, and also a mate had a renault 19 1.8 16V, all of which they spent a fortune on. Doesnt matter how much you spend on them they are just crap cars!!! They are almost as rare as Corrados now and at one point years ago them clios were everywhere!!!! :lol: anyway, good luck looking at the corrado at the weekend, im sure you will find one eventually, it will be worth the wait :D

they are something like £55-£60 new from VW if i remember, but im sure someone will come along with a second hand one for a much better price...

If the new control module doesn't work, check that the white/blue wire is plugged into the fuse box. My last VR had the same prob and I sorted it by plugging it back into the back of the fuse box ;) ok will keep that in mind, nice one :salute:

good info Stu!! i might have a look at the sills you have and buy them to this weekend, bet i end up braking mine when i try and take them off... them tools look just the job, the wide one looks good for taking speaker grills out the dash to maybe (sorry for off topic chat...) Back to topic, Stu is breaking and selling the car so hasnt had the need to stick them back on mate, i might look for some strong tape to use, seen some mentioned on here for the side mouldings. Think it was Kev who said about it

my mates finally getting a spoiler module this weekend, is there any differences between early and late modules?? hopefully it is the module...

anyone done a paint thickness test on their corrado?? im going to attack mine with a rotary polisher in a few months after a bloody good practice on the poor golf :nuts: think i might buy a paint thickness gauge anyway but just wondering what they generally are...

i dont have a problem with it, i do think its slightly pathetic, but i like reading PVW each month when it comes through my door, so without these people it wouldnt be a good read/shows...
