  1. kw's are awesome, massive difference imo!! but i brought the car with them fitted and it has anti roll bars to which must help!! wouldnt EVER change mine though now 8)
  2. Thumbs up from me! !BcvuyVgCGk~$(KGrHqUH-C8Equpwt5zNBK11op5Jnw~~_12.jpg[/attachment:20cpxp04] looks good, if i wasnt spending so much money on my corrado i would love a set for mine
  3. anyone got or find a picture with a mk3 golf with speedlines on?? wonder if it looks good?? could put a set on my daily :D
  4. got the quote from vw bodyshop, it is; £1260.00 labour £490.00 materials +VAT  going to give my mate a shout, im sure he will do it for 1k if i ask nicely
  5. i honestly wish i had the standard airbox on, looks better imo to!! the way my pipes run it isnt possible though :(
  6. dont think she cares too much, be a lil earner but wont really bother her by the sounds of it :cuckoo:
  7.  this has reminded me, my mate has locking wheel nuts and no key bit, wonder what he is going to do
  8. be worth trying SRP, but depends on the "damage"
  9. i NEED autosmart tardis dont get me wrong!!!! but that is a special wash mate and is pretty powerful, better than the autoglym stuff!!
  10. yeah its not cheap. I got a quote for almost a respray to bring my current corrado up to scratch and should have the quote when i get in. The only thing im not having done is the roof and passenger door, so looking 1k i think :( plus i may as well do it all really so its brand spanking... cant wait to have the bodywork perfect and shiny though
  11. you need to remove the bits of bumper or whatever first, then it should machine polish out with a good cutting polish. I find autglym tar remover to be pretty rubbish really... i much prefer this; http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-a ... d_183.html any pics of damage??
  12. easiest answer ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OAK GREEN best colour vw ever did imo, my old car was lined up for the oak green full respray but i ended up buying the VRT instead, and i will be keeping the moonlight blue now... full respray between 1k and 3k, depends if its a colour change and where you have it done... i was quoted about 2k for a full colour change to oak green by a vw bodyshop, so the engine bay etc would match!! would of looked nice :(

    Extra Badges on Car

-heat gun/hair dryer/even boiling water can work -something plastic like bank card as already said -remove the sticky bit with tar remover and a microfibre cloth -polish the paintwork with a good polish, a machine polisher would be best obviously (i wouldnt use tcut personally!!)
  14. yeah, k&n arent that bad, would rather a k&n to a pipercross, but BMC is the way forward imo
  15. Personally I just want a completely predictable 250-300 lbft available from 1200 rpm to 6200 rpm. Is that too much to ask? :) thats exactly what mines like!! not so sure about 1st gear, i take it easy in 1st then let rip in 2nd
  16. i was the same in seeking more power... i ended up selling my old corrado and buying a VRT already done, just needs some TLC, but wouldnt swap it for the world!! i havent been in a rotrex'd corrado saying that but it surely can be better  maybe the same but not better 8)
  17. i wish i had 2 so i could use one daily, but i dont dare as someone wrote off my last one down the road in busy traffic... im over protective and dont want it parked in car parks etc if i can help it either... but i have drove it to work today and it reminds me of the days i used one as a daily :(
  18. oh nice one, will find them to then... i want to ask BJV about my wheels to because they have stone chips and 1 curb mark which i want to sort out but they are a bronze colour so dont know if they could match it???
  19. i think it will be interesting to see what they say, but it isnt far off a respray :pale: i have a mate who does it to so need to get in contact with him, but he is recently spraying my mates corrado so want to see how good the job is frst... and there is a bodyshop in the next village so will go there to. will post what they all say... and i would love to do it myself, i would like to buy cars in a bad body state and spray them up and sell them on for good money, but wont ever happen
