its in the corner above the eyelid grill, the bonnet comes down slighly lower and doesnt line up spot on, the rest of it lines up fine...
-
yeah good spot, defo been put on after then...

It's not quite that clear cut. Plenty of cross over cars on a J or K, with late exteriors and early interiors. Even some VRs with early interiors. oh really, thats news to me... thought it all happened in 1 year?? and never seen a VR with early interior?? they must be well rare...
-
1992 was the cross over year, my mate has a k plate 1992 G60 and has the buldge bonnet and 3 slat grill standard... i reckon that bonnet has beeb put on it, some people prefer them
-
ummm, thats a late style bonnet... you sure its not a 1992?? but early bumper??
-
>1992 late loads of things different, i wont remember them all.... arches (wider on later) bonnet (early is lowered straight bit, and late is raised diaganol bit, bad explanation  ) front bumper (the line curls round??) headlights fog lights the doors (only a metal strengthen bar in later) etc etc in your case you will need early style door cards so they fit, i dont know why... someone is going to have to add to this and fill in the blancs, but theres plenty more thats different!!

appartently different spacing, style letters (or in my case i have a dash in between the numbers and letters) means the speed cameras cant pick them up?? i had german plates on and they made me take them off and sign them off to be disposed there and then, but i didnt get a fine... depends on the police officer!! sounds unlucky, if i were you i would do what i did and get english style lettering on pressed plates with the GB logo, you can get them from dubmeister site, they take a few weeks though

LOL, was the speed needle resting against the trip counter reset button? I've only done that once when it had a Schrick and 268 cams, never again though, instant ban! yep, couldnt go any further  was going down a hill though at the time.... and yeah, i also defo wont be doing it again, a stone came up and hit the car and it sounded like the turbo fell out   was a heart in the mouth moment thats for sure, but its the fastest i have ever drove so was happy
-

went on a cleaning mission today, spent hours on it  got a bit carried away, and went for a drive and forgot to get after pics :cuckoo: was a bit too exicted and just wanted to drive the thing... on the drive had a little play with a Audi RS4, and he couldnt get the better of me, but he had a couple mates in the car and i was on my own so i think that helped, but was still happy the old girl held her own :D got some respect and a thumbs up so that made my day (simple things please simple minds as they say  ) so some new cleaning bits i have been picking up this week... 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdf01 [1024x768].JPG[/attachment:mfk1lzl6] need to practice some more with the snow lance, didnt use enough solution either i dont think... 02 [1024x768].JPG[/attachment:mfk1lzl6] all this car detailing is pretty new to me, but i am hooked!!! cant wait to get the bodywork perfect now...

yes mate you have seen my vr are mk 4 goofs 5x112???and they are 17's not 18's might sell em with the r888 rubber on which have only done about 500 miles !! or i might take em off did you want some sticky ribber for your vrT ?? :norty: :norty: no idea what pattern they are actually, will have to find out... just put new rubber on the VRT, shouldnt need any for a a while im hopin?? yeah they look smart i think, and i would buy reps evrytime and spend the extra money else where imo... when are you thinking of selling then mate?? and yes, BBS RS GT's :luvlove: very good call indeed mate!! some good pics though, some thinking to do me thinks

17's are probly the best size i would think... any ideas on what audi ones?
-
didnt know you could get different shape wheels
-
as said, what wheels would you put on a mk4 golf?? going to get the mrs one soonish and i want to put some nice wheels on it, was thinking about some BBS LM reps coz dont want to spend too much, somthing cheap and cheerful ideally but still post pics of what you like best anyway... pics with your ideas as well would be great!!
-
exactly, little touches and details and this cars a winner, plus by the sounds of things it will drive fast and awesome and slow you down quickly, what more could you want?
-
X2  i also think you should snap up ziderapples 24V, or at least have a look over it 8)
-
basic clean to get you started then, other people can add to it obviously... clean wheels and arches snow foam or just wet the bodywork with water to remove loose dirt shampoo with wool mitt (duragloss shampoo is what im buying next, apparently good) then you can clay bar it polish glaze (optional) sealant as discussed already (put on both wheels and paintwork) that should do it i reckon!! but i would get some better car wash and polish, even the autoglym stuff is better... chemical guys, megs or zaino are very good...
-
you mean you quite like your pink car when its red then yeah
