took some pics earlier today...... been giving it a good thrashing the last 2 days actually, even clocked it last night three's up  wont be doing that again i dont think, but felt i had to see what i could get top end as you do and we all survived so all good... the old girl is looking very dirty right now, but i have booked a day off friday to get her ready for edition 38, then its going off to the boys at DG to work their magic so its all go at the min. Mods since last pics are: new number plate fitted last week and a new sticker which has given me over 20bhp extra  at DG yesterday i had the following done: heatshield fitted to gear linkage, investigated small oil leak (chains), adjusted suspension and wheel alignment, found OS track rod bent , adjusted throttle idle stop to 13.7% and adjusted the idle damper... plus a good inspection and went on vagcom Corrado92.pdfgood pic1 [1024x768].JPG[/attachment:1f3sa61l] passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfgood pic2 [1024x768].JPG[/attachment:1f3sa61l] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfgood pic3 [1024x768].JPG[/attachment:1f3sa61l] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfgood pic4 [1024x768].JPG[/attachment:1f3sa61l] good pic5 [1024x768].JPG[/attachment:1f3sa61l]

made it home safely after all that bloody rain... thanks for looking over the VRT anyway guys, cant wait to drop it off for more work now. Was interesting hearing what you guys had to say!! -
I found that it's ok wearing a helmet in the corrado but being nearly nearly 6ft meant having the seat as low as possible and still you get a little knock on the window frame on a few corners. Custom seats will be going in my VRT to combat this.[/quote:355ikek5] your not messing about then mate

very interesting...

buy a 2.8 24v low mileage engine for £700 approx, apparently very easy to fit, with some research and a little bit of help i reckon you could fit it for around 2k... sounds a lot but worth it if your happy with the amount of power you get from the VR engine... im sure someone will add to this whats needed -
well what a collection anyway, i would have a field day cleaning them up :D
-
what are the plans then daz?

big ben replied to Corrado_Addict's topic in General Car Chat
Me too and sometimes i go the long way just so i can drive it that little bit longer  .... possibly a sad thing to do. in no way is that sad, its sad not to have a nice car you enjoy driving  -
only problem with parking in the corner is someone might smash your window and try and steel stuff, seen it happen a couple of times
