agree, enjoy the R32 standard for a little while then decide! but with 4wd i would be thinnking about more power to, and a blower is the way forward
-
i dont know about you, i dont like seeing my car being thrashed on some rollers :gag: i will get 1 more done somewhere else before i do anything else under the bonnet though... its not just about the numbers though, drives very nice, much better than my old VR with the ARB and KW's
-
oh no haha, more wheels!!! the forum wheel whore  they are nice, fil the arches purrrrfect with the spacers :D
-
thanks mate, i wont let you down :salute: got a nice little private plate going on her very soon to, so that will make the car mine a bit more. Just little touchs, i was thinking of all red lights and smoothing bits, but im liking the standard lights and orange indicators etc.... everyone seems to change them, but i like them now.... so staying standard as possible, new silver badges on the way to
-
wheels are 17x8, not sure of tyres, will look for you later!!
-
i would of liked to of changed them in some way to make the car my own, but i like them too much now, they look better in the flesh
-
the brakes are actually 323  and yes they are VERY good, feels so safe even driving stupidly fast!! only danger is getting into my golf gti next day and almost driving into the back of someone  i think it must be running at least 300bhp, but who knows  see what the diagnositc says, maybe i will put it on another RR before i start having a little play... Marcus seemed to think it should be between 320 and 340 so if there is something a miss im sure it wont be lnog before its sorted!! i dont think running a VRT daily would be too bad, just drive off boost for a lot of the journey... Kev does it and im sure he will agree it can be done!! but its nice to have it for weekends, plus if its raining a VRT is not the car you want to be in
-
nah im not hanging about  i much prefer the standard black leather and plastics!! quite a lot going to be happening this year, should be exactly how i want it to look soon, then just tweaking the engine  its a good job im not mechanical clued up otherwise it would be engine bits under a gazebo
-

yeah looks good that one, i would never spend all that money on a conversion to put a VR6 engine in... just buy one thats done and sell yours, its hard to get rid of your pride and joy, but worth it!!
-
yeah they have a new customer
-
and to put a VR in is loads more suspension and engine wise
-
how come its yours already? i wouldnt hav my mrs driving a corrado and me in something else :nono:
-
Not getting rid of the 'rado... Well OK I have!
big ben replied to Alexander's topic in General Car Chat
i dont think any of the cars above would satisfy you enough after owning a corrado. I would like a A3, but as a daily, then my corrado for weekends  I would just do what i have done... use to drive a VR daily, someone smashed into the back of me and wrote my car off, so i brought a better corrado, and a golf to drive daily so hopefully it wont happen again, finger crossed -
there is early and late style corrados... too many differences to name, what you mainly worried about?
-
will look loads better low, not sure about changing the wheel colour though with these...
-
thanks guys!! well the car is in DGautotech next week so will get them to have a look over it. It does seem a little high to me, but sitting in traffic on a hot day (M25 :gag: ) its only 96 degree max, where as my mate in his G60 was about 114 plus, so thats not a problem at all, jus when im thrashing it it goes up that which worries me slightly
-
   would be awesome if you made it to edition, would like to have a look at your rado!!
-
i demand you start a thread on here   looks good, that is a great project!! engine bay has seen better days but looks a good base car
-
the amount it will cost for adapters all round, it will be cheaper to sell yours and buy 5 stud i would imagine
-
thanks kev!! yeah marcus has been using silkolene 10W/50 and gave me some which i have used and will continue to use :D im sure i have a mocal, could be wrong?? you think 114 is a bit high then?? it seems to jump from 104 to 114 quite quickly that i dont even realise, but maybe thats because im having too much fun
-
im seeing 114 degrees when thrashing hard in the hot weather, but then im slowing down as im paranoid it will rise... not sure if it would go higher, seems to only get to that point, normal driving i get 104 max. I have stage 3 fan on as well as soon as it reaches 96 edit: does it matter what oil aswell??
-
what oil temp would you guys consider high for a VRT?? (kev anywhere??)
