Morning all:smug: Being a complete beginner to the whole engine tinkering, thought id start myself of with something easy (famous last words). Genseral service of dizzy cap, leads & spark plugs as the little lady was getting a little lazy on start up. Unfortunately one of my spark plug cylinders is half full of oil (got about 10ml out of it). Cleaned the cylinder & spark plug (friday) & checked again this morning &.........more oil, not alot but enough to turn to you guys. Any thoughts?? new seal needed some were perhaps:scratch: Thanks Rory

Ill take a year Alex, by then ill have bought some new rims for her. Not gonna put myself threw the whole process again:smug: (don't hold me to that!!) Glad you approve Sompy, did take a stupid amount of time to do but kept me from spend my money down the pub. The money saved went towards a Auto Glym kit so today ill shall mostly be getting rid of all the hair, dust, grime & grease that has found its way into the little lady. Was gonna send her off & get it done but you know what they say about if you want a job doing properly:shrug: Hope you had a good weekend in Bristol & it was too wet for ya.

After rubbing the matt black down i applied a couple of coats of grey primer & then a few coats of satin black spray paint. Once the wheels were cured i used PU lacquer to protect the paint. Ideally could do with some more lacquer but I’ll wait till this sodding rain stops. All the spray paint was from Halfords (own brand), each can costing about £8 (2xprimer, 2xsatin black & 1x PU lacquer). How long the wheel will last i don’t know but if you’re looking to tart up your wheel there is special spray paint for alloys out there but not sure about the cost?? The most important thing is not to rush, apply the coats lightly & you should be ok.

Despite the appalling weather this summer has to offer i managed to get a little tarting up done on my alloys (vw centers purchased on ebay):thumbleft: Also sent the little lady off to get a new alarm & DVD/CD player plus cable routing fitted for some improved sounds.:geek:

Thought i'd just drop a note to introduce myself & my first Car. My name is Rory; I bought a 1994 Corrado, 2.0 16v, Ice Grey Violet Pear Corrado. I bought it threw this very forum so a big thanks to the Administraiters for there time & effort  Will put up some pics at a later date but most of you have probably seen my Rado. Have always loved the look of the corrados but never thought I'd have one as a first car so really excited to get out on the road & start giving the Rado some TLC. All in all she looks & sounds in good shape. Have a list of things to do though; -Buy new alloys (suggestions welcome) -Fit new alarm system (whilst sorting central locking) -New stereo -Full valet & steam clean the engine -Adjust the upholstery & get split seems fixed. Need to look at the door card as they have holes were they shouldn't. -Clip the heat shield First step is the Alarm & central Locking. Have been quoted Around 230 pounds for the system & fitting but thinking about fitting it myself:geek:. Any helpful hints & tips would be greatfully recieved guys. Will post on the Ice & Secure Thread. Looking forward to getting to know you all:thumbleft:
