cheers Tom wasn't sure about the fitting but i'll pick up some washers on the way home today, so you used your original motor? The guy has sent me a motor with this and it has the same connection as the original, think I should do the same and use my original motor or swap it for the one he sent me? Also, does the interior cover match your Corrado's trim?

I know this is probably a long shot being they've been deleted but has anyone got a set of late spec heater controls for sale?... now for the long shot, cheap if possible? All the ones I find on eBay are going for £100... I presume this is because they're not a deleted part. cheers

Hi all I'm sure this has probably been covered before but the search didn't bring up what I was looking for so I thought i'd ask. I know the Passat B3 sunroofs are a direct swap for the Corrado's, but I was reading on the Corrado Canada's forum that they're more a direct fit for the early type. so my question is, as i've been offered one, will a B4 Passat 94' sunroof mech fit into my 93' Corrado VR6? Before I go buying it and find I have problems which could have been avoided cheers

alright guys hoping someone on here with some wisdom might be able to shed some light on this recently purchased my first VR... it's had a few niggles on it that i've been waiting for summer to sort out, one being the alarm/central locking. I have the cert for a Sigma M800 fitted alarm, but the actual alarm in the bay is a Gemini, which I have the key for and have a fob for it somewhere, but I turned it on and tried the Gemini fob and all it did was make the indicators flash, it doesn't turn it on/off or lock the car. Then I also have another fob... which is a Meta fob and a fob for the immobiliser... which works. Anyone got any insight in to what I could do to get it working? or where I can take it? ok, I'll let you know mate, I'm in Manchester as well so it will probably be easier to sort out me picking it up or something wouldn't it, rather than letting parcel force handle it lol

hey Guys Probably a silly question this but I thought i'd ask anyways, I'm going to buy a second inlet manifold to polish up, so i've been searching around and found some, but my question is I know there were differences between the OBD1/OBD2 inlets for the sensors etc... but what about size? I have found one that is OBD1 but it might be off a Golf, if it's off the AAA engine, will it be any smaller to go with the smaller displacement of the engine? or they the same bar the change in engine management any help would be great

kept my old set of Speedlines for that reason, so i'm not limited to one set... cheers everyone I was debaiting getting some coilovers fairly soon so I can lower it a bit more on them, one thing I do love about them... they're massively wide, so no need for spacers and they sit flush with the arch. coullstar, how much have you lowered yours by? yours is sat perfect on them, and where'd you source the VW caps for them hahaha

Just thought i'd post these and get everyone's opinions on them, my mate had these spare, so I nabbed them off him, and with a bit of messing with the the right tyres I managed to get them on the other day. I can't decide if they're too big or not, sometimes I look and they look high, then I catch a glimpse in a reflection and they look spot on. If you could Jay that would be great, you're up towards Alderly Edge way aren't you? it would be great if I could have it working for next summer... not that we see much sun in Manchester anyways but it's nice to have aircon there if I need it, i'll see if I can lend a friends Tomtom this week and try and get up your way at some point

right then, does look like mine was damaged when it had a bump, I was debating taking it to an Aircon specialist as well to make sure there's nothing else missing as well and it is just the condenser I need. Cheers for all the info though guys

wondering if anyone could shed some light onto this... not a problem, but something I wouldn't mind sorting. I recently got my first VR6, and its had Air con at some point, the switches are still there and the compressor is still on, but one of the pipes off the compressor has been cut. I don't have a clue about Aircon, but its had a front knock @ some point and my mechanic says its had a standard Rad put on and needs one with aircon but I can't find one anywhere Is he right about the rad? and anyone any ideas on where I could source one, or does the MK3 Golf Rad work because I know they did come with Aircon standard? any helps would be great

I thought so, wasn't there a crossover period where some early spec corrado's got late spec bonnets and wings?... saying that though it probably has been replaced because its had a nasty paint job on it what about the wings? they late spec or early spec? cheers

alright everyone any tell me, if my bonnet the early spec one or late spec... I'm new with Corrado's and i've always had it down as being early spec, but then I caught it @ the side and it looks "bulged" at the front, I know these pics aren't the best to tell but would be great if someone could verify

Hey all can someone clear something up, will a brake master cylinder off a MK2/3 Golf be the same as a 1.8 16v Corrado without ABS... looking at a pic of both and they look like they're the same and i'm looking at the list which says their the same, just want to know before I go bidding on something cheers

hello people hopefully someone can shed some light on this, but on my newely aquired Corrado's stereo stays on even with the ignition turned off, so I decided to fit my own expecting to come across a load of chopped up wires like you'd normally find on older cars, but it still has the original loom... then when I checked my fuse box to make sure everything is ok I noticed the Radio holder doesn't even have a fuse in it? Is this something I should be worried by or is it normal with aftermarket stereos? also... the spoiler doesn't work, automatically or off the switch
