what is the opinion on this? http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19050 i know it has had a lot of work done- and im not too clued up about what problems a vr6 could potentially have. i mean- is it likely to needa full rebuild soon? how will its performance be compared to a rado with 70k? is anything else likely to need doing? any input would be appreciated... cheers

ive had one for a few years! although its not infallible i reckon it has saved me a couple of times for a hundred quid you cant go wrong

did it at the weekend and it does sound savage!! it seems to have taken 2-3 mpg off the already horrendous fuel consumption though- any ideas? i thought it was said that K and N were supposed "to improve fuel economy"?!? reckon it feels quicker too... :D

the vr is stuttering slightly when idling! not missing a beat or cutting out- just very slight changes and it feels like it might get worse... or is this the infamous irregular idle- the only thing is that it seems to be getting worse! could this be the HT leads or the distributer or something like that? could it benefit from an oil change and some fuel stystem cleaner maybe? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh more expense

just been on the step by step guide and it sorted me out! 4 toyo proxes, an oil change and the installation should have the vr running sweet again!

hey, ive currently got a golf vr6 which has just passed the 80000miles mark! (i had a rado but someone went up the back of it and wrote it off!) it is overdue a 10k service but to be honest i was qouted 180quid and that seems kinda pricey. I wouldnt say i am technically minded but am quite handy and was just wondering what would need doing to it for this service and whether the things are possibly to DIY? I know i wont be able to do everything but tasks like changing the oil are within my capabilities! Basically what im lookig for is a list of service jobs, what can be done myself and what cant, and the cost of taking those that cant to a non-rip off garage! any help appreciated, cheers

Have just got back from the motorshow, and all I can say is that there are some nice cars there but who gives a f**k! The women on view were UNBELIEVABLE, just got back and am in shock about the lotus girls and the mg girls walking around in their catsuits…… Oh my god

just sitting in traffic yesterday coming into london and next thing i know bang! a black cab has flew up the back of me doing about 15-20mph. my corrado which i have only had for a couple of months is ruined- f**king gutted. the thing is, the back is completely mangled but there are creases behind the drivers door and it wont shut properly- does anyone fancy giving an opinion as to whether the chassis might be bent of what the best thing to do with the car is until i get it down to the garage? thing it might be written off :( :( :( :(

firstly, its my last ever uni exam tmrw! had one today and last one tmrw so hurrah!!! secondly, ive just fitted a semidecent head unit to my rado! I was wondering if anyone knew how to have it so that the ignition does not need to be on to have the stereo on? :?: did it in my mk2 golf but cannot remember!! i think it is a case of wiring the yellow to the red or something, but my head is too full of air-pollution mechanics to remember... thirdly, had a race with a WRX few days ago and kept up with him till 75ish then started to pull away... and last of all ive seen the stealth turbo conversion for a vr and its nearly my birthday.... :D cheers

Have been having a peep in the back of evo magazine and doing a bit of statting! :cyclops: one thing that caught my eye were the figures for the rado vr and the 325 and 330 beemers!!! figures are semi similar 8) for performance figures, and just wondering what the competition would be like on the road- my money is on the 330 pulling away over the ton.... :cry: anyone have a view on the matter? cheers :D

i have read through all the previous posts about letting the baby breathe, but am still :?: undecided :?: about whether or not to put a K and N panel in my stock VR. i would love a turn2 kit but cash is simply not there... so, to panel or not to panel and what would i get out of it? thanks for any input :oops:

ive got a little stonechip in mine :mad: , what is the score with those companies that say they can repair the windscreen without replacing the whole thing? anyone had any experiences? cheers
