  1. You can always go for the Bosch Dealer and buy a fuel pump for your Corrado. 8) They have early and late fuel pumps available. Well i found them a lot cheaper at Bosch here in Portugal. :) Then i went to VW and bought the new sender. If your car has one only In-Tank fuel pump, this will be the correct Bosch Dealer Part-Number: F 000 TE0 111 Complete with all hoses and clips in a box. :D
  2. I have been watching this topic as i got my G60 IC this week! I am planning to go for the conversion next week. I still don´t have the long bolt for the U-Bend, i believe it´s M8x90. I don´t have that small bar for the U-Bend... Do i really need it? How many hoses do i need? So far i have the U-Bend and the next hose that connects to the IC. I wonder how the IC output pipe connects to the COPot hose... Do i need a new COPot hose aswell? I´m a bit confused as you can see...
  3. I call mine AVIAO (Portuguese) which means AIRPLANE in English. It has flaps and everything... (rear spoiler) LOL
  4. Have you inspected those micro-switches on the throttle body, and their connector? Give them a good WD40 clean... 8) Well... I would do that! :? If it doesn´t work, i will start to suspect on the lambda probe. Keep posting! :)
  5. Del G60, Have you tried GATES? They offer many sizes for air-ducting alu hoses IIRC... :?
  6. I believe that your problem is the Lambda Probe (dead). Disconnecting the G60 battery won´t change anything... You should check all the Lambda harness to the ECU and clean the connectors. If it doesn´t work, get a new probe! Oh... And Vag-Com won´t be a help for you, as it only comunicates with the ABS unit on all G60´s. 8)
  7. sometimes they appear on ebay... 8)

    Knock sensor

Yeh, i agree with Super... The Knock Sensor is very important under pinking situations. i.e. if you use regular 95RON it´s more suitable to happen!
  9. sounds like a missing earth... well done mate! i´m going for a digital odometer aswell, it´s good to know that it really works! by the way... did you have the gearbox sender, or needed to get one? how much does VW quote for them?
  10. I like the 3.5 bar fuel pressure regulator aswell! :-P

    Boost Gauge

I´m looking forward to those Henny! :D
  15. Yes there is. You may replace your amplifier which is located in the back side of the radio. I don´t remember it´s reference at the moment, i´m going to find out (TDA****). Otherwise you´ll see it when you open the radio. Be carufull with the soldering iron, not to damage any part of the PCB.
  16. mark_ingle, According to my experience in Sony Technical department... That would be your amplifier (built in) putting some high current in the output. I have replaced lots of them with that problem... :? So be carufull not to damage your speakers!
  17. I have some 10cm quality JBL speakers in the dash with crossovers What an improvement! :D It gives a very clean and cristal sound. 8)

    CLUTCH

Be sure to top the fuild reservoir! I mean to the top! :!: Because there is a wall inside the reservoir for the clutch. You need to add more oil than the max. mark! Otherwise you´ll be bleeding only air! After the job is complete remove the excess oil in the reservoir. 8) I had this issue some weeks ago! We are always learning! :D

    Boost Gauge

    I forgot to say... It´s on German ebay! Have a look! :D http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 71625&rd=1
  20. What about some blue smoke from the exaust? :?
  21. LOL  My G60 uses some oil too... About 1 litre per 10.000km. I think it´s ok. :)
  22. What car are you talking about? Anyway, i´m quite sure it´s not ECU involved. Maybe it´s only your ISV leaky or even the idle bolt on the back of the throttle body (if it´s like my G60). If the batery voltage drops below 12.5v the ECU will enter in safe mode (fueling up your engine by 25%) just to be sure it won´t run lean.
