I don't know very much about VR6 engines... But i have never seen more than 90 deg. on my G60 including in summer. Though the radiator fan is always running to keep low temps.

OEM ones are always a good option! 8)

Nice one mate! Didn't know about that! It is true! I always playing with timing, and i feel the engine much more responsive at low rpm's when i advance timing! Lots of fun! Lovely forum ain't it? :-P :D :D :D

thanks steve! :D

Ok mates... To be honest i'm really getting annoyed with this. This is my G60 setup: - SNS Stage II chip - 68mm pulley - K&N Panel Air Filter - ISV check valve - Brand new fuel pump and 3.5bar fpr - New Blue Temp. Sender - Stock fuel injectors, intercooler and camshaft Timing is set to 8 deg. The car tends to pink on acelerator pick-up (not on high revs.) when i use 98 RON fuel. When i use BP Ultimate 100 RON the car never pinks! (though this fuel is very expensive). If i set it back to 7deg does it mean power loss? I remember running this setup this summer, and the engine was not pinking! What is wrong? Thanks in advance!

The price sounded a little cheap if thats a custom map? Could someone please explain the difference between ECU's, Chips, Remaps etc.? and what I'll need to make my car run at its best with all this new stuff :) I'm still just learning  Cheers, Chris How much power can this mod bring up? Any ideas guys?

TypeR rev´s fast! Though no torque... I have done one once, i believe it was all stock...

I had to cut some parts that it has to fix it on VR6 models. No big deal. The only thing that can bother you, or maybe not... Is the ashtray. It won´t open tottaly. :? No pain for me, as i don´t smoke inside the car! :nono:

I´ve removed the aerial amplifier due to bad FM reception and no AM. As it´s a bit pricey... Just connected the RF cable directly to the antena terminal. The reception is much more better now! I can even listen to FM/AM in parking garages! LOL Worth a try and save some pences!
-
Yeah! Me too...

Nice price mate! I really need to move in to UK... :D

Nice find mate! Really helpfull! :D

I´m working on that too mate! Tomorrow i´ll check the cluster printed board to check for compatibility, as the later corrados have 2 indicator lights, and the speed sensor is different too. It´s possible to fit a speed sensor in the gearbox. 8) You´ll need to re-do the spoiler activated circuit too.

Chipping a normal motor will make no difference...

Lots of joke here... :drinking: Kind of funny! :) Keep going! :D -
Are you replacing the rotor? What about the hall sender?
-
Yeah... The problem is that i don´t know the age of my suspension... :? But spinning in 3rd gear is normal? Yahoo! What a ride! :D I will probably go for any german material... 8)

My Rado is running like a dream! :D The wheels are spinning everytime i run at full throtle! Even in 3rd gear! To much power loss... I am looking for a nice set of shock absorvers + springs for a nice price. What do you recommend? Any good experiences? Should i go for a 40mm drop as well? Opinions needed! :-P
-
I´m i wrong or your rado´s running less than 12v battery power? I´ve got that problem in mine and the voltmeter is calibrated and the alternator is running properly... though i don´t like the idea! Any other mates running like this?
-
Yeah... I´m not a good help on those VR6 engines too... But you only need to check to items: 1st - Coil 12v supplied? 2nd - Does the coil receive the timing signal from the ECU to spark? Well... It´s probably not that simple. But i assume that an engine with fuel and spark plugs firing must run. Are there any vital sensors to the ECU so that can immobilise it? :?: Keep posting mate! :)

Maybe next christmas... What do you think? Take a look! http://www.autoscout24.de/home/index/de ... pdqrptbeev

Once i have used slick50 on my ax sport. I just did it because the engine had enough miles and was drinking some oil. About one year after that the car wasn´t pulling hard anymore. :( I don´t know what happened, but i don´t intend to use any oil / fuel additives never more. :| There´s nothing like a high quality oil and filter. :-P
-
I´m running those tires in my C... And i really hate them! :| There´s nothing like Good-Year tires! :-P
-
Just like mine! 8)
-
Yeah... me too! :? I just wonder why the car keeps pinking... :| I´m sure that all hoses are well conected (no leaks between hoses/pipes). Double checked the pump part-number and it´s correct (4 bar output). I haven´t change the timing, neither the CO2 Pot. I´m running 98RON with 8º deg. Any ideas? 8)
