G60Renshaw, 200BPH only running a 71mm pulley and a performance chip? That´s great! :D I wonder how much power i have then running 3.5fpr, brand new charger, 68mm pulley, ISV check-valve, SNS stage II chip (98RON), de-cat, stock fuel injectors... :?: Anyone knows?

    Late spec G60 ?

I know a mate with a 1989 Corrado G60. It has no electric windows! I don´t remember about the sunroof... but i suspect it is manual too!

Super, are you running red top fuel injectors? What about the fuel pressure regulator? :-P
  5. I have never saw a Corrado VR6. I saw once a Golf III VR6. So my opinion is not significant. But i am sure that they have never drived a fine G60... :!: There is nothing like a super boost powered by that G... :-P I love it! :D
  6. WOW! :-P Now that´s what i call a fast car!

  10. You can buy the Bentley Manual at ebay.com brand new for $75 USD = £41 GBP 8) Even with postage i think it will still be cheaper. :)
  11. I had that problem in my car. Replaced the spark plugs (were in very bad condition) and also added injector cleaning fluid (from STP) . Night to day difference! :D
  12. That´s the aerial amplifier. That problem is caused by water leaks most of the times. You will find out when you remove the aerial. You can bypass it, connecting it directly to the radio ( you will still have good reception ) or even try to repair it! Or you may buy other one... There is a good link about this issue here: http://www.corrado-club.com/faq/detail_faq.CFM?FAQID=58 Hope it helps! 8)
  13. I think SNS has a Stage I chip builted only to eliminate the digi-lag. :-P It is not needed to change anything in the car. It is a good improvement! 8) I can tell that i ran my G60 with a SNS Stage II without the 68mm pulley. The car runs perfectly! Maybe to rich... but... Much more fun! :D
  14. Well i don´t have the VW special tool to do it. I always use to flat screwdrivers. Place one between the arm and the car body. Push a little bit, then go for the 2nd screw driver, place it in the left side of the other one and push the arm a little bit more. You will know when to stop while you see the belt enough released to take it of the alternator. Be carefull not to mess up your engine bay painting. To replace the belt you also need to remove the lower belt (teethet) too. It is very easy too, just take a look to try to understand how it works before you start. There is a hidden bolt (13mm if i remember) on the top of the steering pump to hold it.
  15. :notworthy:  :thumbleft: :salute: Simple and explicit! Couldn´t be better! :D
  16. Wow! How beautifull that Porsche is mate! 8) You know it is my favorite car of all the times? :D
  17. Suberb painting mate! :D Looks sweet! Welcome to the best forum of the world!!!! :)
  18. Horizontal motorway - 140mph  Going down? Didn´t try yet... Expecting 160mph... I´ll let you know then!
  19. I am thinking to change my G60 camshaft too. :-P There is the 260º symetric one. And there is the 268º/276º assymetric. These are the most common ones i think... What would be the differences between these cams running in the car? :?

    Missfire???

My G60 feels a bit lumpy at idle too after i installed the 68mm pulley. But is a very slight thing... It doesn´t bother me at all.
  21. I hope the problem is not related with the ECU... You notice difference when you disconected it, but that could be a sign of other malfunction. And the ECU ignores that malfunction when you disconect the oxygen sensor too... It might sound like a strange theory i know... But i have many situations like this one at my job. Try to inspect the all the input wires/connection points/harness (from senders) to the ECU. I would do it... Then if you decide to go for a new ECU please let me know. 8)
  22. The weather is so hot! 38ºC around here... :onfire: Unfortunatly i have no airconditioner to cool me down, neither to give me those extra horses! Poor little car... the radiator fan is always on!
  23. dji... Is this that difficult? Anyone?
  24. Wow! Lucky you it´s a BMW!
  25. My odometer and trip meter stopped moving today... :( But the speedometer works fine! I would like to replace the whole unit with a fully digital 1992 G60 one... :) Mine has a cable attached to the gearbox. The early models must have a speed sensor. Where can i get this? Are there more things to do? What about the turn signal leds? Do early models have two leds? One for each side? Mine has only one green led on the bottom. Are there more things to do?
