  1. At the first look they look similar to the Corrado suspension. You may also want to replace the bumper stops and top mounts! 8) Easy job!
  2. Well i would check the supercharger or leaks. How much boost is it producing? You can
  3. Once again VEDUBBED has sorted me out! Very nice contact and fast shipping from Italy. Highly recomended! :D Thank you Andrew! 8)
  4. After getting the linking, and if no luck. You can start thinking about a clutch issue i guess... I only had the famous 2nd gear crunch, i replaced the gearbox oil with some MT90. I fixed about 90% of the crunches! Have you tried it?
  5. Hello AlgarveVR6!!! This is quite off topic as i don
  6. Great video! Nice find mate! :)
  7. I took a look at the Canadians Corrado Forum. I found out that the shorter belt to run the car without the supercharger is the 6PK1500. I just wonder if this belt is for cars with or without A/C. My car does not have A/C, so which one is the correct belt?
  8. It´s all OK for me, but... Isn´t there a similar thread in this section?
  9. Seems like an ignition problem to me... :? Check the spark plugs and also the blue temperature sensor! 8) If they´re OK, check the fuel pump aswell. Keep posting!
  10. This is a very nice video! :D Good looking cars too! :D
  11. Hello mate! Welcome to the best forum in the world! And also smart choice to get a Corrado! :) Well lambda probes are VERY responsable for fuel delivery, a high millage or dead lambda probe will affect you car´s performance for sure. So if you don´t remember when you changed the lamda last time, maybe you should get a brand genuine new one. Here in Portugal i can get them much cheaper (than VW) from Bosch! Inspect all wires and clean plugs, then setup the ignition timing to 6deg. and give it a nice CO tune. Maybe it would be also nice to check the spark plugs aswell. I´m pretty sure you´ll notice a huge difference! But, if you want to leave the job with a very talent guy, book your car into G-Werks! You won´t regret! :D
  12. Hi Steve! Quality and useful information you left there! :) I guess that´s a good start, apart from not having a wideband. But... 0.25% CO seems very low... Maybe you meant 2.5%??? I´m running with a cat, where in the exhaust pipes did you get that reading?
  13. I know this subject has been covered several times before, but i guess that´s our posts who keep the forum alive, otherway this would seem like an ordinary library... :) So i took this morning to give some good threatment to my 1992 Jet, i ended up by setiing the CO value. I don´t own a wideband, neither know anyone who does. :( I wonder if somebody can tell me which % of C0 is measured when the car is properly set-up at stoichometric point 14,7:1 All cars are diferent, but i guess that there´s a nominal value? 8) By the way, i strongly suggest all G60 owners to check up their lambda´s millage, check igniton timing and CO. I did this today and the car runs much better! :D At the first time i thought that it was only my imagination... LoL But then i realised that even the exhaust sound is different! I love G60´s!!! :D Cheers,
  14. You can also have a bad earth connection on the engine block. This can cause some issues with emissions, as the G60 lambda probe ground (output) is done by the exhaust pipe. So, if you don´t have a good engine ground, the ECU will get lower output voltage from the lambda, therefore adding more fuel into the engine.
  15. This is a very happy post! I´m going to search for thoses gearboxes around here... I always felt G60 gears very light, the ATB box would satisfy me today, but as i see, the CTN looks much better! 8) Thanks for the post! :D
  16. I would check the lambda wiring up to the ECU with a multimeter... The lambda probe is very responsible for fuel delivery! So it´s better to get back to the shop. 8)
  17. Also check the vaccum pipe that connects to the ECU
  18. Yeah! I´m exactly after some of these too! :) Of course that it need to be shaped, so that can look like original. Thanks! P.S. - This is so cheap! I wonder if they ship overseas...
  19. If i disconnect the O2 sensor i get a massive black smoke from the exhaust while driving a little hard. So i guess that even the SNS code is getting and using its readings. Today i measured the boost at around 6200RPM and i´m getting 1.2 bar with a 68mm pulley. EDIT: Sorry for the mistake... (1.2bar)
  20. Yeah, that´s also true. I´m running the CBA box instead of the ATB one i got on my previous car. With the CBA gearbox the car revs up more faster, but less top speed in each gear. For example, i can remember hitting 210Km/h in 4th gear with the ATB. And i had to relief the acelerator pedal to avoid cutting at 7000RPM. I can´t even reach this right now. With this CBA one, it´s difficult to pass the 200Km/h in the same gear. It´s not a question of revving, because i can´t even hit the 6800RPM. I also remember getting some exhaust pops while shifting in high revs on the previous engine. Wow! It was such a feeling of power! I know it´s not related with power, but just makes me remember of the fun ride it was! :) So... I want to get the best of this wonderful SNS chip that i already know! Any more opinons please? :)
  21. I understand your point Darren, maybe i didn´t express myself correctly. I know that there´s nothing wrong with the eprom, because it´s the same one i was running in the previous G60. I´m just trying to figure, what´s wrong with the car, because it has a different behaviour with the same setup. I think i´m going to get an original and brand new lambda probe, as i believe this is all about incorrect fuel deliever... I don´t usually rev up to 7000RPM, it´s just a term for comparision. In my opinion, good shifting is around 5500RPM. Thanks for all the replys buddys! :)
  22. Hello mates! I would like to tell you a story about my current G60. I´m running the same setup like the previous one had. I cannot hit the same top speed, neither feel that massive torque. The timing is setup up correctly and CO-POT aswell. I cannot hit 7000RPM in 4th gear, which i could on the previous car. Now, i wonder what could be happening... - Defective (dying lambda probe)? I´m also running a 1.6 Golf Cabrio Lambda, could this be an issue? It was told me that they´re similar. - Bad fuel pump (not feeding properly the injectors)? - Is this due to a small exhaust leak that i have? - I´m sure there is no boost leak. - I never heard no exhaust pop, which i was getting at high-revs in the other G60. So it makes me think that this is all about a lack of fuel. Anyway i wonder if there are some differences between early and late G60 engines (camshaft, crankshaft, etc...)? This is because these engines have different sounds while running ( in my opinion) And yes... i can get more top speed with the stock chip than the SNS one. This situation is completly the opposite from my previous G60. Any ideas / sugestions? Cheers,
