I went with a mate to see a guy who redrills centres the other day. He said £50 a wheel. Seemed a good price at the time as new adaptors cost £100+ for a pair! Anyone else know of any places that do this ? And any prices? Cheers Ben

Short shifter arrived . Gunna give that a go tomorrow :) Been lookin at these for a while so had to grab em while they were cheap! Split the rears for refurbz! First time doing this but wasn't too difficult. Had all the right tools so all in all took 30mins to do the pair! Cleaned up bolts Any tips for removing the laquer from the lips? I got some wire brush attachments for the drill. Not the wire ones, the black nylon 'paint removal from metal' ones. Are these ok to use? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On the engine side of things! Still haven't had the crank seal done:( I'm thinking of just swapping this spare engine into it as its had the chains and guides done already. I'll just do the rear crank seal on that (just to make sure) , ,and swap it over 😳! He says!

Cheers Sean Should've mentioned its got a mk4 golf header tank on it with the blue cap! When the light comes on I usually leave it till its cold and then check it. if it's on the minimum mark, I undo the cap and let the pressure out and it rises to half way between full and min! Cheers

So every couple of days this keeps happening! I've had a look and doesn't seem to be leaking from anywhere. When I undo the header tank cap after being sat for 12+ hours there's still pressure in the system? Is this normal? I left it for the whole weekend (Friday afternoon -Sunday afternoon) and still held most of its pressure! Im sure this isn't meant to happen? Could be wrong tho! Also when the cars hot it sometimes makes a weird noise like a kettle/goose :/ lol Any helps appreciated. Cheers Ben

Picked up samco's and 288's from Robo22sri yesterday :D Bought some new wheels! Re attached rear plinth with some velcro! Did the job and ain't coming off! Short shifter on order :D (can't wait to fit this)

Hey man They were banded by a guy up in Leicester. All jigged and done properly so No wheel wobble! There used to be a guy on here called "lukey" I think, he had his up for sale on wheel whores but had just sold them as I rang him! So he offered to get me some done if I got the wheels! The et is standard Vw which I think is 35 iirc.. There straight fitment onto Vw, I've had them on a mk4 and my corrado! Yea interested in d90s mate. Where bouts are you? Goin to edition? Ben
