hello, i have a 1993 vr6 and need and aux belt tensioner as bearing for the wheel on mine has seized and the belt no longer turns thanks for any help

saw two today, both in east swindon around 2oclock maybe a bit later first was blue, second was purple or black only got a glimpse?

went to get a video this morning and it seems to be working fine! when i asked the person who i bought it off wether it tilts and slides he only said tilts? so maybe he just genuinely didnt know it slid as well? maybe just needs a bit of running in after not being used all this time?

Was just scrolling through some post on this thread as a mate of mine has a VAG-COM but only has the OBD II conector. On the first page of this thread stormseeker says that he made his own adapter to OBD I, Since he was last active in 2009, i dont think im gunna get a response out of him, but would like to know how he made this convertor, i dont wanna spend money on the real one but surely all it is, is 4 of the pins (or more?), on the OBD II connector connect to the 4 pins in the OBD I connector? Ive googled it but couldnt find anything on it? wondered if anyone on here has a solution? cheers

mines a slightly different issue, gunna get a video of it in the morning, if theres no rain, i think the tracks might need greasing up? also with my sunroof im pretty sure the paint is rubbing somewhere when you take it back into the car? is this a common issue? whats the fix?

Wow, Thank you so much :bonk: just assumed you had to do the reverse of the tilt to slide it, and it works :) but when i close it it gets about 2/3 of the way and then i have to keep releasing it and pressing it again to jerk it along then it will shut properly :( is it on its way out? should i not do that because i will brake it? dont want to break it and then not be able to close it in the rain :( cheers for the help

Im not sure as to wether the data is supposed to be changed but everytime i start my car up my MPG isnt saved? shoudl it be saving? if so what can i do to fix this? or does it not save? cheers

Hello, i need to change my engine gearbox mount, the one to the right of the engine (when looking from the front of the car), the bolts are verticle, top and bottom and it seems like an easyish job, so other then the usual's (making sure the engine is supported properly), is there anything else to look out for whilst im doing this job? and are there any steps by steps on anything that needs removing or anything of that nature, just want to make sure i dont get stuck under there for hours, because its a sunday so part places will be shut early? Thinking of getting a Corrado vr6 have been looking around for the perfect one for a long time now and i think one has finally come up, went to look at it earlier today but i just have a few questions before i jump in, Are all Corrado sunroofs tilt and slide? (pretty sure they are but this one only tilted) If so then how would i go about making it slide? fix or replacement? If i have seen the spoiler working whilst the car is still, does this mean it works whilst its going along? The electric mirrors don't work, owner says sometimes they do, is this an easy fix? Any real problem areas i should look out for other than the ones i have stated? I thought i had more questions then that but that will do for now i suppose, i know all the faults im asking about are electrical and that you should watch out for electrical faults on these cars, but the price is just too good :) Thanks for any help in advance :)
