No i would fit it without a service either but its not for fitting straight away, mainly spares and long term rebuild for when mine conks out eventually other than block and internals, what else comes with it? is it obd1 or obd2? cheers

ahhh! gauge and fans! but would the vagcom read from the ecu though?

pretty sure ive got three? from left to right, yellow 4 pin, blue 2 pin, black 4 pin?

is the sensor the blue 2 pin one? the middle of the three?

Hello, i have a problem and have looked around and found many solutions, but i wondered which one is the fix for my car? currently when i plug in the vag com in i get error -00522 which is a problem with -givers for coolant temperature -G62 my engine temp on the vagcom and dial is almost always 77.ºC my fans hardly ever kick in (can only assume because engine "isnt getting warm enough") sometimes it all suddenly works eg. sat in drivethru worrying about engine temp, then dial moves to correct temp and fans kick in *Phew* i assume my problem could be with the Engine Coolant Sensor? if so where is this? is it one of the plugs above the thermo housing? which one? Thanks

Oh My God I hate my concept 50! had the car for about a month now, remote is battered, I'm forever locking it and unlocking it to start the car, but i do have the manual, it was in with the history, i suppose i should give it a read! if i find anything useful ill report back :) might scan it in and upload it if you cant find anything on it, as I'm sure other people will want a copy as well? Debating whether to go back to what was there originally, or get a new alarm? but i don't know what was there originally?

ok cheers thought i could have been that but it was all rusted and grimed up what is it just a 7mm bolt? or an allen stub screw thing?

took the front end off the corrado the other day but couldnt seem to get the bonnet release cable undone so had to rest the slam panel on the floor next to the car! Got to take the front end off again on sunday and would like to know how to remove it properly? had a look around to see if i could find anything on here but everyone either says "remove the bonnet release cable" or "youll see how to do it when your down there?" i couldnt seem to see how to do it? and couldnt find anyway of doing it at all? im probably just missing something, but would someone be able to tell me how to remove it? Cheers

yeh will do and when i find out ill report back :) the only thing is even tho i took the whole front end off yesterday i didnt even fix the problem so will have to have another go on sunday but would be nice to have a list of all the interchangeable parts !

Hello, whilst removing the front end of my vr yesterday I seem to have managed to damage one of my front indicator bulb holders in the process, I don't know of any corrados in my area being broken but there are a few golf mk3's Does anyone know if they use the same indicator bulb holders? Cheers

ok guys cheers gunna get the front bumper and rad off today and have a proper look at it :) thatll give me an excuse to do a full coolant change as well cheers for the help

Hello, my car has been loosing coolant recently and think i may have found the problem! its seem to be leaking from a little screwin cap thing on the hard hose that runs along the front of the block i have it circled in this picture this was the best picture i could get? what is this part? I did once hear that a broken reverse light is not an MOT failure, the lights original purpose was to show you the way when reversing rather than warn others that you were reversing, therefore it is not necessary to have a working one to pass dunno if anyone can back me up on that?

Hello, did a bit of a search first but couldnt find anything on it, where is the ISV located on a vr6? having some judders or misfires on idle and low rev pickup, just want to shoot it with some carb clearer, and see if that helps it clear up but i cant find it? Cheers
