No, light come on whilst i was playing in the snow, had a look at the fuses and relays yesterday, all contacts look great no moisture up there, bought a new abs pump and going to fit that on sunday, hoping that the solinoid in mine has gone.

Cable into pump is sweet! All connections look good! Pins and contacts onto abs module are all clean as well! Unsure of what to do next?

Ok cheers pretty sure I had that cable off to spray contact spray on, and didnt notice any damage to it or any of the wires? Ill have another look tomoro when it's light, but if not does anyone know what's next on the list? Cheers

Bringing this back to life for hope of some more answers, I've sprayed all the abs plugs I could find and changed all the sensors my light is still on! What's next on the list? Control unit or pump? Or is there something else it could be? Cheers

Ok guys cheers for the suggestions doing a bit of work on the car tomoro anyway, so well give me a good time to have a good look and a little fiddle :) So with it being obd 1, am I able to look at anything other then engine electrics? The console has options for transmission and braking electrics but could establish a connection? Can't see anything to do with abs startup routine, does anyone know anything about this? Haven't actually mentioned this and suppose I should have, the abs doesn't work anymore, don't know of this obvious or not? Cheers

Oh ok,well I was deffinately spinning the wheels long and fast and sometimes I was hammering the front brakes as well! It's a 93 VR6 and plugged the vag com in yesterday which couldn't tell me anything about it and didnt turn it off with a fault code erase, obd1 by the way so don't know wether this means it won't tell me but couldn't hook up to the brake electrics, only engine Cheers

ABS light came on whilst using brakes (and ABS) during the snow! Knowing the car would fail anyway, i put the car in for MOT today to see if anything could spread some light to what it could be? Rear brakes came up as an advisory wondered wether them being low could have anything to do with it? If not what are the problems a solid ABS could mean? Cheers

Would really advise changing, nice easy job i took the bearing to a bearing shop and got a new one for under a tenner, mine seized when i was away from home and had to get the rac to bring me home, well worth doing!

Assuming you mean the inlet plenum, this is how mine look, no vr6 cover and its just a generic vht silver with polished "fingers"! currently runnning a black pipercross with it now though, would take a picture but my bay is not clean at all at the mo! Just for an idea!
