Thanks, that was what I was looking at. Cheers, any links to the pdf, can't seem to easily find it? How would these work with a Peloquin torque biasing diff? Thanks, very useful to know. Running a Peloquin diff. Power quoted at 315bhp but I have no idea if it's running that still. Going in for a turbo health check/dyno in about 4 weeks so will know then. I'm having issues with traction in the dry. Can't get out of the hairpin in 2nd, the wheels just light up and I lose about 1 sec of time. 3rd gear is off boost on exit so can't really use it. Thanks. Unfortunately, I have no idea on spring rates. I tried some adjustments to reduce understeer last season and whilst they did help, I think I need some more fundamental changes to improve the handling, at Knockhill specifically. The fact it's a very bumpy track doesn't help! Thanks to all for your help. Feel free to add anything further! Cheers.

Hi. Yeah, it's Jabba's car. They've been really helpful so far. Thanks for the tips, that's maybe next years budget right there! Was looking at the rear beams yesterday. Where are you getting your parts from? Any tips on what camber to aim for as a starting point and what's your take on ride height? Cheers!

Hi all, after my first years racing the Turbo'd G60 I have fallen for Corrado's again. Needless to say, I'm looking to make small improvements for this year, principally to suspension and geometry. I'm running KW Compeition coilovers with 0 camber on the rear and about -1.5 on the front. Big front and rear ARB's, not sure of size but they are thick. Wheels are 16x7.5j Compomotive MO5's running 224/45 Yokohama's A048R's with a Peolquin Torque biasing diff mated to a 02J box. Shocks are set to pretty much medium all round. I'm very much a newb when it comes to Geo and Corrado's so was looking to pick your brains. The issues I'm experiencing are: 1. Mid corner understeer with light throttle. 2. Front end will sometimes "bunny-hop" mid-corner. 3. Lack of traction in 2nd gear on throttle, when cornering and on the straights in the dry. This is chewing through the tyres. My first thoughts were to add more camber front and rear to about -2 front and -1 rear. I have some Eibach front camber bolts and some Eibach rear camber/toe shims - these up to the job? The car is very stiff and I feel it could be too low reducing the amount of travel. It feels too stiff, almost like it isn't allowing enough weight to transfer on to the loaded wheel. On this basis, I've thought of trying it with the ride height raised a bit and the front ARB disconnected. There's a couple of images below. One shows the ride height and the other shows how little body roll there is coming out a tight corner. Any help or opinions you can offer would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi all. I want to reduce the steering rack ratio in my G60, i.e. less turn lock to lock, which I think still has the original G60 rack in it. Is there a direct replacement from another vehicle I can use to achieve this? Cheers.

Hi, Anyone know of anyone that has made fibreglass bonnets or tailgates in the past? Or, even better, if anyone has any for sale! Cheers.

Videos from the 2nd race weekend: Sports & Saloons Quali: Sports & Saloons Race 1: Sports & Saloons Race 2: 1. I need new brakes. Passenger side front disc keeps warping for some reason, likely a sticky piston. Calipers may need a rebuild. 2. I need to man up in the first few laps! 3. I need a new start procedure. 4. I need a longer 2nd gear. Had a good tussle in the first race and accidentally side tapped the Fisher Fury at one point, oops!

Well, you can watch Motors TV at 8pm on Thursday 3rd May to have a laugh at my expense!

Looks lovely mate. How did you find it to live with on a day to day basis? ---------- Post added at 7:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:23 PM ---------- Looks lovely mate. How did you find it to live with on a day to day basis?

Yep, they've been VERY helpful with me so far.
-
Yep, spot on! Image shows it well. The ARB's I'm running are as thick as pack of Rolo's!

haha, thanks. It is still legal, but I've SORN'd it. No way you'd take it out on the road! We've just got our GoPro HD Hero2 but the rollcage mounts haven't arrived yet. Will have it up and running for the next race on 6th May. There's an old video of the car here from before I bought it, sounds the same now:

Thanks to all, I'll try and fulfill the requests as soon as possible. Testing was challenging today when a fuel line (to the fuel rail temp sensor) flew off spewing fuel all over the engine bay. How the hell it didn't result in a fire is beyond me but after a couple of hours scratching our heads and grafting we managed to make the final testing session! 10 points! You will know better than me. Mis-leading thread title now! No, never come across that car I'm afraid. I'm in Class B1 with Impreza's and the like running treaded track tyres. Championship includes some serious machinery such as a 360 Challenge, Porsche GT Cup, 700 bhp Cossie's, Evo's etc. I'm very much bottom feeding, LoL.

Hi all, Car is now ready for it's first formal outing of the season at Knockhill this weekend, 8th April. Here's hoping the weather doesn't spoil things. Please follow/like us at http://www.facebook.com/wtfmotorsport. The page has more information on the car (and a 1975 Jensen Healey were running) and will feature updates, photos and videos (eventually) following us through the 2012 season in the SMRC Sports & Saloons Championship. If anyone pops along to the race meeetings, be sure to say hello! Any questions, please ask and I'll try my best to keep this thread updated throughout the season. Wish us luck, we're gonna need it!

Some info here http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?60297-Hi-all-back-in-a-Corrado&p=770478#post770478 I get the car back this weekend (hopefully) for the first race in 2 weeks time so will do an update.

Nope, quick jacking points, two each side!

Awesome mate, thnks very much for that, appreciate it.

I need to get my numbers printed up but don't have access to my car. I really need the dimesnions as shown in the image below: If someone would be kind enough to measure along the top of the door "ridge" from the mirror base to the door handle, and also from the "ridge" down to the top of the trim, that would be a massive help. Ideally measurements in inches & cm's please! Cheers!

HI mate, are these the ones Daves16v sells? If so how, much you looking for? Ta.
-
Need a fully working Corrado (1993) drivers door handle ASAP please. Thanks.
-
Mate, thanks for your help with this. Got the original spoiler fitted at the weekend with two bolts through the housings, fixing it in the "up" position. Worked a treat and very easy to do. Thanks again.
-
Cheers. Got a new trailer now so no issues. Splitter is part of a flat single piece underside. Doesn't run the full length but a good way up the car.
-
I hope so. It's all still very new to me. Headlamps are out to accommodate intercooler, radiator and oil coolers. Custom made arrangements in its place with two headlights and indicators. Feel free to say hi if you pop up to Knockhill. Will post up the dates when I know the car is fit to race and passes scrutineering for the series.
