lol...ive got a rack for 50 delivered..is that cheap?? theres no point me doing all this work to her if im gunna bodge the rack..ill replace it then get her off the axle stands and get some pics up

i think i need to look into it a little more...the level drops slowly, 1 cm lower a week....theres fluid dripping off the pipes that go from the bottle so i thoght that was it but today i moved the rack while taking the calipers off an i heard a bubbling coming from the rack and fluid dripping....i think its the air inside the boot making the bubbling not the rack but the rack must be leaking if theres fluid inside in the boot.... if i leave the car running theres no drips, if move the rack side to side theres no leaks lol....its a werid one

ive got a pas leak....its not a constant leak when the engine is running, but i was left for a few days, ive turned the rack with the engine off and quite a bit of fluid came out, seems to be collecting in the boot..... am i best to get a used rack or can i fix it... i havent 100% confirmed its the rack yet but seems to be the problem so far...also its got the red fuild in not the green....

now the snow has stopped......i need to get a lot done..but will see how far i get.. jobs on the vectra...fix the total closure mod, fix the broken door handle light, change two bulbs behind the dash and change a rear bulb... jobs on the C...remove all 4 colipers and clean them up ready for painting, remove the inlet and rocker cover and get them ready for painting, change the power steering tank, remove door cards ..replace the ignition lock and re tumble the locks kettles on, almost ready lol

mine was the same m8...i just put some wd40 and engine oil down the cable....just drip it in and then get your lips around it and blow it through...like new now....sounds and tastes horrid but its done the job

its been snowing for over 3 hours here...its easy 6 inch deep....im stuck at my mums house, car got stuck on a flat so getting home seems slim....but mite give it a bash lol

i only have 1 key for the C, and i dont 100% trust the guy i got it off, so i was wondering if i could change all the locks and barrel for a different key??

i know theres loads of posts on tyres here, but i havent found what im after... ive got a set of 17" alloys, 17x7JJ ET40 4x100 PCD ive looked though the forum and got the right spigot sizes 72.0 - 57.1, so ive ordered them.. as for the tyre size...there gunna be ???/40/17...im i best going for a 205 or a 215/?? i dont want any rubbing issues. cheers in advance

Locating a leak, need some help identifying the location please

mines leaking from the flange on the side of the block..its cracked some how so i got a new one... as above, you need to clean it up and then source were its leaking....its prob just dripping off the lowest part of the engine -
its fine on idle, but lumpy if reved up slowly

ive givern her a full service...cleaned the airbox, the flap above, the pipes, the senor on the inlet and the throttle body..still the same... i havent got the inlet manifold off yet..ill be doing that soon to paint it.... what else can it be??

today ive cleaned the airbox out and cleaned the flap above...on that side i have a long black wire with a spade on...were does it go??
