Is it really a lot of difference? I'd like to have a drive of one to see what its like, I don't feel the 115 has got enough ooommppphhhh... A mate had a 130 which was nice. If we chipped ours, 150-165 is possible with a little extra smoke :)))) But I just don't think my turbo would last with my driving technique! Got 132mph out of it last night... hehehe, still was doing 48mpg as well !!!

I'm going to be shipping half the interior up to the trimmer in 2 weekends time giving me a few weeks to finish off the reast of it. Not too much left to do now.. I've been thinking that it would be nice to pull my finger out and finish the electrics and send her up to Jabba for mapping while the trimmer has the interor??? Time and cash is letting the side down a little though on this plan. Only 10 weeks till E38!!! GULP.. :roll: :roll:

I knew it would be cyl 3, for some strange reason they seem to go if the fuelling is a little lean... I've just heard of Rich @ venoms lupo going pop after only 4000 miles and another guys... However Jabba didn't map either of them and apparently they weren't running anyway near 340+bhp so imo they didn't have a good map.. yours did have a good life! must have done quite a few miles since it was done?

I used x2 Kenlowe fans, quite expensive though, think they were around £75 each!

I've now heard of 3 horror storys with the IHI in the last month, which is not good! I wanted to use mine daily, but looks like I'm going to have to upgrade the internals before that happens. cool.. funny enough I did think about putting an oil burner into mine and strap an IHI or something bigger onto it! An oil burner 4wd Corrado, now thats something VW would be proud off...lol

you could say that about a 20vt or VR6 24v conversion as well though...

You might be right, as long as its packaged up ok and has insurance, UPS and Fed-ex's should be able to handle it. I'm only sniffing at the moment, just doing my research. If All Smiles weren't so expensive I might go to them also has anyone seen CF bonnet that they have done as I'm not sure on the quality...?? Some of the CF bonnets I see on Jap cars are amazing but haven't seen one on a VW in the flesh yet so can't comment.

ok cool, will have a look. Have you had any problems with removing the rear seat blets as well (MOT)? I was thinking of doing this but didn't want to have hazzle off the MOT people... what would you advise?
