Yeah I have heard of the coking issues... this one was decoked at 36k so I might treat it at it's next service to some head treatment. Although if I'm currently down on power then I would be amazed to see what she can do when breathing clean Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I like the b7 estates and did even contemplate an avant 🤔.

Other the the fuel it's actually fairly practical Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

No I think they just worked with the head and airflow to squeeze a bit more power out of the lump. It pulls like nothing I have been in before and just rockets off with the 4wd. Yeah the miltek is something that I think im going to be contemplating in the near future. The old rs4's and s4's were v6 by turbos, can't remember what year those ones were though Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

4.2 but naturally aspirated, although far from a lazy v8. They are 415 bhp standard but I believe alot of people get 440 with a remap and exhaust Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

So I have tried to restrain myself from posting about my new car.... but u have now caved because I'm over the moon with it and am a sucker for a little brag [emoji28] . So here she is Audi rs4 06 with 59k on the clock. Completely standard and in the must have sprint blue with silver ears 😁. The quilted seats sold it for me (I am a tart).

Thank you guys. I'll order up a standard part, at that price it shouldn't be an issue even if it does fail again. As for removing the small remaining piece that is stuck in the block has anyone got any hints on how to remove? My plan was to knock it through from the water pump side. Hmmm and there is a big price difference. The thing is I was looking for turbo track use to figure the heat and agree may be stronger so might be worth the metal equivalent Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

That's exactly what I'm thinking of. It would great if you or anyone knows where these are available from? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Hello I'm sure this has been covered many times before but I have started stripping my bay to remove my vr6 block. I decided it would be a good idea to just remove anything to leave a bare block, including the thermostat and "crackpipe". Now the plastic that has seen heat over the years is brittle and snapped in the block. I'm presuming a common issue. As I'm hoping this is common I was wondering if anyone has encountered it and knows the best way to remove the remaining plastic in my block and if there is a nice metal aftermarket replacement that someone has invented? I know we have some keen engineers on this site who have come up with some genius solutions in the past. Hope you can help Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Has there been any progress with this as I am seriously interested Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

In the thread he says the aluminum is the same price as the steel? But prices may have changed I guess Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I would be interested in the vr6 and even more interested in the aluminium one 😏 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

A 911 would be a lovely car to own. But I know for sure I would have my 350z ovee a coxster any day Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I have a 350z which I do absolutely love, great fun to drive and the added enjoyment of RWD. However the sound doesn't compare to the vr6 burble. I think in terms of character I prefer my corrado and that's why I haven't been able to get rid of it... but the 350 is a great car. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Which is what's said at the beginning of the thread... But there is still a missing boot floor. The conspiracy theory starts!

How much do you reckon the magnums fetched?

I've just got back on the forums after about 3 years absent. Fairly sure I recognise the name good to be back,!

That's some serious cash for a corrado. Very nice example though
