Right then, has anyone on here got the "royal flush" of pimping I wonder........???????
-
Hi Mat, don't know much about the Pioneers, but whatever you choose I genuinely would advise you to get components for the fronts. No matter how good the speakers, having the tweeter down by your knees ain't the way forward lol. Mount the tweets like I did behind the mirrors and it really is a simple job.

I put it on both the metal and the door card, and basically anywhere I could find. I took the plastic off at the bottom and put it inside and on the outer door skin. just make sure you don't foul the window mechanisms. Then resealed it. I've also put it behind rear cards, under tunnel, boot, headlining and behind dash. now the car is like a little s class merc its really quiet!

No problemo! I have been using Alpine kit for years and always found it great vfm in this price bracket. Make sure you fit some dynamat or similar at the same time though, it'll make a massive difference.
-
Nice one I'm really pleased you like them. I think its a nicer install using the triangles rather than the dash mounts. Toying with sub idea myself, but can't be bothered with the cabling LOL

Blackberry for me, even though I drive a red one. Also like candy white, burgundy pearl and flash red.

Good news! Speedline Italy have a set at the factory in silver which was the colour I originally wanted so hopefully get them next week or so!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Damn delay from speedline means another 4 weeks for my wheels. boo!
-
I have an AMD map on mine. No more outright power as mentioned, but the curve is better so the car feels much quicker on standard exhaust than my old vr6 which had a milltek and induction kit.
-
Any news in this Gaz?

I test drove a CSL with SMG before buying my manual E46 M3, was fab on hard charging but I really hated it around town.
-
I ditched the dash speakers and fitted a proper component set along with new 6x4s, and I'm really happy with the results! Have a look here... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?51423-Pete-s-second-Corrado-new-ice-fitted-and-17-quot-Speedlines-on-order!&p=723585&viewfull=1#post723585

Just my two penneth, but I bought an e46 m3 in 06, estoril blue and black leather. loved the looks and pace, but I sold it after 4 months as it didn't feel special. I've had an e36 evo also, and two corrados and for me the vws are so much more charismatic. Sitting in traffic the m3s night as well have been high spec 318s!!!

Ta guys, not even bothered if its not a vw one, just anything to fit the armrest snugly
-
Cheers, can't seem to find anything that size though. I don't really want to pay a lot, just don't want the armrest being so spongy! Any help appreciated as to what will fit?
-
As per the title, my car never came with one so I want to buy another but not sure which dimensions I need to fit snug as a bug in a rug? Ta, Pete.

Yes you can run components off the HU, and if you get something with a reasonable sensitivity they will go pretty loud. I run Alpine SPG13CS speakers with the tweeters mounted on the door mirror triangles. The sound is miles better than the stuff that was in there before. The mids were a straight swap fit and there's room just to the side of the mid for the tweeter. They were 50 as I ordered the E set but they sold out so gave the G instead. I think they are 75 anyway from caraudiosecurity.co.uk Also I fitted dynamat to the inside of the door card and door which has made such a difference I've used it all over the place to get rid of squeaks and rattles etc. Here is my build thread... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?51423-Pete-s-second-Corrado-new-ice-fitted-and-17-quot-Speedlines-on-order!&p=723585#post723585

Good effort and welcome

Hi if the splitter is a 50mm I'll take the bumper. Which is it?
-
Err Compomotive MOs? lol. Is that the price inc tyres? What about Speedline challenge/turini, rota slipstream or BBS RXII,
-
I rang my dealer a few weeks ago with the 50mm part number but he said none available. I'll have one if you can get any Critical Mass???
-
Nice! Thats proper old skool 90's. Love it.
-
That looks great!

What odds will you give me on either the spoiler not working or it cuts out on the test drive? :) -
Wow! Can you turn that trick with a red VR with pink wing mirrors etc lol?
