Hopefuly somebody will be able to help with this........... A while ago I had the rado completely re-sprayed. Ever since this there has been a noise and draft at high speed. If I tilt the sunroof slightly this quietens it a little but when fully closed it is extremely annoying! I am guessing this is something to do with the sunroof seal and could really do with some advice on how to rectify this????? It is also worth mentioning that a small 'L' shaped piece of metal 'fell' out of the sunroof from between the lining and the actual metal lid of the sunroof. I have not got a clue where this goes, but I am guessing it won't be helping. Kinda looks like some sort of clip. Thanks in advance. Regards, Neil.

Hi all, Thought it was about time I posted up some pics of the VR6. So here we go.............
-
Bad luck mate........... If you want my advise tho, stay with the car when they do the job, even more so if it's autoglass!!!! They have done a good job now, but due to not getting the seal right they had to do it twice (smashed the 1st new windscreen when trying to remove and re-seal it!!!) Also if i hadn't been there i reckon the would have scrathed the SH1T outta my paintwork! Apparently its not an easy job on Corrado's, so good luck. Neil.

Think I now have this sorted, thanks though :) NjA

Dear all, Yet again I have been bitten by the TVR bug and I'm currently in the process of buying a Tuscan S. Could anyone give me any advice on how I go about insuring both the Tuscan and the VR6 on one policy?? My current insurance company won't let me do it and I really don't wanna sell the VR6, but I have to have a cost effective way of keeping it/justifying it. Thanks in advance, Neil.

Fantastic, thanks for this info. I will check this out tonight and see where that leads me. Just hoping that I don't find anymore damage when I get the time to look  What a day.........

Thanks for all your comments. I must say though that at the time I didn't feel 2 lucky!! But on reflection it could have been a lot worse! Dealers it is then (unless anyone has a unit for sale?), didn't think I would get away with a £20 job for this and also didn't think you could replace just the glass, I looked at the unit but couldn't see how the hell it comes to bits...? As far as the 'gentleman' aka TW@T goes, he manged to escape round the roundabout before I got to the end of the bypass. Probably just as well really, as after a workout and the mood I was then in, greeting him may have made the situation MUCH WORSE!!!
-
OK, so let me set the scene......... Nice sunny day, just had a blast of a workout at the gym and heading off back to the office. Cruising down the bypass around 70/80mph, sunroof open, windows down, RHCP blasting outta the stereo and then....................... The lorry in front drops several large chunks of wood onto the road. Now as you can imagine, my first response was  following by lots of swearing and almost near sh1ting myself. Anyway I avoided it for the most part, but due to the barrier on the central reservation being only a cock hair away from me, I had no choice but to hit a bit of it :x So I heard a crunchy smashy kinda noise but kinda was glad that i was still just about on the road, so as the car was still moving and driving ok, I carried on to the office. When I got there I jumped out to find that other than the headlight smashed in, there doesn't appear to be any other damage (will check properly later). Picture attached and can anyone help me out with a spare headlight (passenger side) they might have for sale? Can I get just the glass, or do I need the whole unit??? BTW, shes an M-REG VR6....... Thanks in advance. Neil.

........found another one. Enjoy. NjA

Here's a couple of old audio clips up of my VR6. Part 1 was going excellent untill some bellend in a micra fell asleep and drifted across the lanes on the bypass!! Part 2 was me just messing about. Anyway, these should play in QuickTime when un-zipped. NjA.
