Darren, which way to I turn the top of the dampers to stiffen the ride? Yeh I know what you are saying about the front. Will sort it tomorrow. (As you are about my neck of the woods tomorrow you could give me a hand...)
-
Darren, you know that cup of tea i was going to do you tomorrow... Chris, Yep, 16x9's. I think the front coilovers can be lowered a tad.

I've been a bit quite on here since buying my second C but as I have received my alloys from Germany (yesterday, only took a month and a half!!!) I thought I would show them off :) Has anyone had there arches rolled at Premier in Northampton...are they any good?
-
As VR6 pointed out out.. mine did the same after installing a new head unit.
-
Haven't changed anything else yet but have fixed the spoiler! I fitted a new stereo and wired up a wire which I shouldn't have  Got myself a mint black dashboard Sunday which is next to go in and some wheels from Germany...hence selling the ones that were on the C. Nobody seems to want to buy them which i think is weird as they are in really good nick.

Brookescourt, It did work perfectly...until now. Its stopped working automatically but still works from the switch. Must be the speed sensor...D'Oh! BTW This car is quick!!!! Did you ever get a rolling road report? I never got to push it when I test drove it because the wheels just span in the wet.

Bra: aka, an over shoulder boulder holder :D :D :D ...or in this case a fabric cover for the front of the car to stop stone chips etc.
-
Don't do it...the short roof adapter is sh*te. I had one and as you tighten it, it slips and prags the roof (a very bad design). It was a real nightmare...be warned

stevemac, Try Liverpool Victoria for your insurance. I received some spam mail from them and thought I would give them a try. Turned out they were nearly £200 cheaper than HIC  ...RESULT!!!
-
 Thanks mate. What was the site address?
-
Try here for your Autometer gauges http://www.vwspeedshop.co.uk/pg/cataloguepages.htm I was attempting to set up a group buy earlier in the year and this guy was the cheapest.
-
Pretty sure they are Course (that's what it says on the centre caps)
-
I might be selling a set of 16" speedlines in the near future but they are four stud :( . If anyone is interested drop me a PM.
-
Yeah, have a Autometer boost gauge. It was fitted by the previous owner and works fine. Why you ask???
-
I did a deal with the Borbet T's I had for sale. So all in all it cost me a couple of hundred...result!!! Yeah as Darren said its a Team 280mm

Ok, so how do you know the hall sensor is wearing out...apart from from buying a SNS chip and seeing if it has a 5k flatspot?
-
If the dizzy is sending a signal to the ecu (which we know it is) then is there anyway the signal can be read and diagnosed?
-
Hmmm...i'm sure i've seen something like this before  You may want to add looking for over spray in the inner doors (where the hinges are) boot etc. Tale tell sign of a resprayed car.
-
I might go...not to far from me :D
-
I'll take a set.

Somebody has asked this question to the suppliers in the US before. Their response was 'if you could order enough numbers will will produce them'. I cannot remember who contacted them. Anyone here???
