I was thinking of putting them on my car also tiny seal which goes under centre section still intact :shocked!: I am getting so many original part's off this car.

No pic's of the back mate they have not been removed yet I bought the car and it wasn't running but the ditributor didn't look good so have got a hold of a replacement as we want to try and get the engine running.I have no reason to believe they don't work but obviously it would be better to see them working,even if we don't get the valver engine going I can plug them into my car to test them all the maf stuff work's though.

Thank's Chris it is enjoyable. Today's update got the driver's door card off today and it was the same as passenger side with intact membrane,I also had a go at the scraper seal's but it became apparent to me that they are almost impossible to remove with the glass in the door so abandoned them until the glass is removed probably at the weekend still got some stripping to do first here's a pic of the driver's door.[ATTACH=CONFIG]76482[/ATTACH]

I removed the headlining in my early valver breaker today I will have a look tomorrow at the motor/cartridge take a couple of pic's for you mate maybe it will help clarify.

Rob I am learning with a 20+ year old car you really need to be patient I am really enjoying the challenge of removing bit's without breaking them, I'm not doing too bad so far lot's of bit's for my car that were not present :dance:

Rob I'm no mechanic like some of the chap's on here the reason I said it was my mate was putting bulb's in his foglight's of his mk2 cavalier last night put driver's in checked operation fine put passenger in checked no go went further back the wiring tried it with tester getting current with bulb not enough to light it. Conclusion bad earth he wired in an earth straight to battery bob on both fog's working He is a mechanic I think you just need to try and eliminate everything till you find it. Hope you get it sorted soon mate ;)
