Hi there just trying to get my rev counter working on my 92 G60? I have looked in the manual and see that the feed for the dash is W1 with a blue/white tracer and it finishes T43 (wire connection for speed signal behind fuse/relay panel) now as my heads now hurting and i hate my manual its so unuser friendly ! Can any of you clever people help me? what do T43 connect to? what is the trigger for the tacho? is it the crank sensor? cheers Dan

1=3=4=2 remove no1 plug cam belt end wind the engine around until the timing marks line up stick a screw driver down the hole and see if its bdc or tdc! if its tdc remove the dizzy cap the rotor should point to no1 (there should be a notch on the dizzy body lip) and that will give you no1 flick the key to check the rotor rotation then using dot to dot check the leads simples :) good luck 4 2moz

Hi clumpy glad you approve! shes defo a keeper for sure (sold my last rado a long time ago and very pleased to have another esp a nothelle!) i found the car in the uk but have added a few extras and am completely stoked to have driven her tonight had to post it up! still loads to do but its all very promising " didnt have to call the misses out " bonus shes on like donkey kong! heres some pics from a few months ago !

Hi there i have less than a month to get my corrado g60 motd and have no rear exhaust boxes! Does anyone have a pair of bar type boxes ? condition need to be motworthy but i also have a welder ! will have a system made at some point this is just to get her road legal so dont really want to spend lots of money. but what have you got kicking around in your garage? cheers Dan

Evening all i wonder if anyone can help? I have two gearboxes and wonder which is the best? I have a 6CBA which is fitted in my G60 corrado but i also have a ATB1 gearbox which possibly came out of a Golf Rallye althought the cable connections are slightly different im wondering if the ATB1 would be a better box as the corrado box slips out of gear sometimes and seems to have a lot of throw in the gearchange which would be improved with a shortshift kit but is it going to be worth changing them over or are the ratios going to rubbish? any help gratefully recieved cheers Dan

Evening all i am after a large bore exhaust manifold for my G60 (260 bhp) that will clear the steering knuckle rubber boot and not set it on fire ! might even go for a system aswell what have you got? cheers Dan

Hi peeps got the rado running yesterday and just started to warm up and the steering knuckle boot caught on fire ! Now im quite sure this has been asked before but after fitting an ebay 4 branch which was wrapped i now seem to need another with a bit more clearance any suggestions? didnt really want to spend £500 + what do you boys run? ps looking for 250bhp! capabilitiy thanks Dan

Hi there all i find i need a fuel pump relay for my 91 G60 looks like no4 in the book (wont start no fuel :scratch:) i also wonder if anyone would have the 2 oval grommets the lower grille tags locate in fitted to the lower slam panel? thanks Dan

I hate bently manuals there too heavy the text is portrait which is a real pain in the arse and ive just looked up the static timing marks after having an afternoon of it with my G60 not holding water because of that stupid plate and seal behind the cam belt and it sais you cant set the engine on TDC give me a haynes anyday
