Corrado VR6 Black 1994 Well the time has come to part with my Corrado and move onto other things. I've owned the car since 27/03/2010 and have carried out extensive work during that time, all receipts have mileage and dates, below is the full spec. Most of the work carried out is detailed in my members gallery here - http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?48656-Black-Metallic-VR-Inlet-Temp-Sensor-Upgrade There is a huge pile of receipts from my ownership and more from previous owners. The car is always kept in a heated garage. 1994M Corrado VR6 Brilliant Black Metallic LA9V First registered 08/08/94 180710 miles on the car 130k miles on replacement engine (fitted at 179035 miles on 08/04/14) MOT expires - 19/07/16 BBS RC alloys 7.5x16" with polished centre caps and locking wheel bolts Bastuck 2.5? exhaust with round tailpipe complete with Stainless Steel rear box hanger Cobra Full Closure Alarm Glass Sunroof Black Heated Leather Interior with Stainless Tilt Handles OBD2 Conversion Smoked Rear Lights New Parts During My Ownership: Schimmel 263 Cams INA Tappets Replacement Timing Chains and Tensioners VAG complete clutch, bearing and lever arm Clutch Master and Slave Cylinders VAG thermostat and housing/seals Bilstein B12 Suspension Kit VAG Front Top Mounts and Bearings Golf 02J Shifter Stainless Gear Surround NGK spark plugs Sump fitted with baffles and powder coated Sump Gasket Injectors Refurbed ARB Links Serpentine Belt All coolant senders Radiator sender Coolant Radiator Coolant Fan mounting powdercoated with Stainless fixings Front Suspension Ball Joints Replacement washer piping VDO oil pressure sender VDO Gauges Fuel Filter Water Pump Ignition Switch Golf Mk4 Header Tank Golf R32 Rear Wishbone mounts Wishbones Powdercoated Rear suspension beam powdercoated and fitted with new axle bushes Rear discs, pads and wheel bearings VAG Coilpack Goodridge rear braided hoses 288mm front calipers recently refurbed with new seals and powdercoated Front Stainless braided hoses Golf Mk4 rear calipers Lupo Aero Wipers Battery Oil Temp Gauge Sender VAG floor mats VAG Crackpipe VAG Aux water pump Front and rear seat guides VAG oil cooler seals VAG door pins Beru spark plug leads Smoked side repeaters Stainless tailgate strut screws Tinted headlight reflectors Centre tunnel fixing bracket Uprated door handle striker arms Rear wiper removed Rear towing eye removed Golf Mk4 Leather handbrake The Engine Bay has undergone extensive custom modifications as detailed below - All plastic engine covers removed SWG Single Piece Scuttle Panel Part powdercoated and polished cam cover Powdercoated inlet manifold Polished throttle body Custom designed Polished Stainless Steel HT lead holders Polished belt tensioner Polished Stainless Steel radiator elbow Carbonio Induction Kit with Polished Stainless Steel mounting Stainless Steel custom made header tank bracket Stainless Steel custom made vac pipe bracket Stainless Steel bonnet prop Uprated headlight loom with Stainless relay enclosure Various Stainless underbonnet screws Stainless radiator brackets Various Polished Stainless Hose Clamps Trimsport Polished Alloy Oil Filler Cap Bonnet insulation removed and polished There are numerous other polished Stainless Steel brackets in the engine bay too many to mention. Fitted the Polo/Golf shifter upgrade a few weeks back. Shortens and tightens the shift very nicely but was a pig to fit as the CAT and heat-shield needs to come off, not good when you haven't got a ramp.
-
Ok I'll let you know if I don't have any luck with return shifters. How much would you want for them?
-
Just another reminder to those who have bought a shifter to send yours back as I've got others waiting. Thanks.
-
Rare that I have any ready these days, not enough folks send theirs back. Best thing to do is send a £10 deposit to secure the next one which could be towards the end of this month.

VR6 Aux Water Pump Question (when should it be running..)
daves16v replied to Jim's topic in Engine Bay
Jim, my pump also runs as per Chris. -
You will need to remove the door card to get to the central locking cable connector which attachs low down in the door. The clips at the bottom just support the door card, no need to remove them.

Ahh just checked your location, South London is a bit too far, thought it was Worcester midlands way.

I wander what other surprises it's harbouring?
-
Maybe it's for 'sail'?

If M15 VW wants the drivers seat I could possibly take the passenger.
-
I'm not fussed to be honest, if someone wants to supply these then that's cool with me. I'll still develop it just because I like doing stuff like this.

Yes, PM for payment details. -
Taxed and Insured at the weekend so it's almost good to go again. Problem is the bonnet cable clip inside the car decided to give up. So took the opportunity to make one up, it's not quite as I'd like as it was rushed but it works, I'll be redesigning it this week and hopefully adding it to my offerings.
